Hello all, the wife and I have gotten a little tired of our old ash/volcano table, so I took two days to make a jungle board. It went surprisingly fast and I really like the outcome. These pictures arent great but Ill post more once we have a chance to play a game
or two on it, shift work makes it a little hectic.

Also, we've started our third army to mix things up. So far Ive painted Firewarriors and a Broadside, soon we'll have enough for her eldar to take a detachment.

Total cost of materials was a little under $100, and the old board is stored nice and safe so we can play on it later. Ill make some additional terrain for this eventually, but we're off to a good start. Ideas/suggestions appreciated!

Great looking table, did you use the usual fishtank plants? I like what you did, looks modular to a degree?

With those Tau/Eldar you're going to want some LOS blocking terrain on there, though!!! I find hiding to work well.

They are all 2x2 squares so we can rearrange when needed. I raided hobby lobby and got a ton of their decorative plants, so pretty much the same thing.

I've definitely got to make some more overgrown shacks for full LOS blockage.

Interesting. I'll check back for updates: I am doing swamp tau for armies on parade next year.

Nice Job! Are you going to do all the different basic styles? Like Winter, Desert, City?

^ I definitely think its in the future. That or adding two more squares to the side so that its 8 squares total but still reachable...we need bigger armies first though. Its cost effective, all it takes is time.
