Recently I journeyed far to the north and unto the most holy of holy marine sites. Unto the place whence armies march forth daily and where the ever beating drums of war thunder on!
And within that bastion I did see most amazing things and discovered - discovered
That GW really does run the lighting dim in their gallery of showcase miniatures - low and with a plethora of little lights - great for eyes but the combo along with the glass in front made for; challenging conditions indeed.
This was all on its own too in a whole stand with nothing else; just a little lone niddy thing! Not sure what it is, I'm assuming its custom made as there were a few things in the gallery custom made (Along with a slew of pretty much every miniature currently on production all masterfully painted).
Great place to visit if you get a chance!
Might get a few more of the pictures I took up, but honestly the light, glass and lack of tripod didn't do justice to the painting.

To see the picture, click and drag it into a new tab, it appears however to be a tervigon of sorts, but with hormogaunts, which makes no sense, since hormogaunts come from eggs, not tervigons.

It is a Mycetic spore, build from Tervigon belly, Carnifex carapace and some other bits.

It is indeed a Spore Pod, it belongs to an army that took the 'Best Painted Army' award at May's Throne of Skulls. It's mentioned in today's UK White Dwarf Daily on the GW site.
I had the pleasure of being on the table next to the owner for one of my games at the ToS and it was great to see in action first hand. Almost every MC in his army was converted, and his Harpy (might be Harpies, I think he had 2) were amazing to behond...
He even taught me how to use a Mawloc effectively, so I went and bought one.

Yeah sadly I didn't have a set of coloured papers to stick infront of all of their little lights!
Bunny - Nice, looks like either the rest of his army was being used or photographed at the time, glad that there was more for the displaycase!
