I'm some what new when it comes to the whole tabletop war gaming scene but I have been desperately trying to get a feel for the game and the rules these past couple months so keep in mind I'm not very good.
In one instance I disembarked my Possessed (5) against a squad of gaunts and destroyed them pretty easily, and even when his giant snake tank came scattering in from under ground they managed to hold there own against it and even had it trying to run away scared. In the end though they fell short and died but the giant snake tank was nearly defeated!

I love my possessed and I don't understand why they get hated on so frequently!

Hi Jack, its really great that your enjoying having battles, I'm guessing the "snake tank" was a Tyranid Trygon or Mawloc they are both fearsome opponents so great job. I would just say battle, paint , use and collect what ever models you love most (as long as its a legal army list) Its all about having fun after all

Also mate I think you have really posted this in the wrong forum discussion. I think you might be best posting this as general 40k thread. This is more for people posting whole battles start to finish for people to read. Kinda like a complete battle story.

Apart from that mate happy gaming, have fun with those possessed and maybe think about posting this as a general 40k topic, you will get better advice for your question there mate.
