Okay, here's a few pics of some tanks I knocked up this afternoon.
They're a bit rough but they're intended to be used as scenery in conjunction with some artillery emplacements that i'm working on.
I'll put pics of the full set up here when it's done.
Cheers.

No offense but they look like they're not even painted at all on first glance. And on closer inspection you can see how hastily they were painted. Aside from that they look nice, though

I like them, even if they are a little bland

Ha ha, I knew that I had one knocking around and just got the others off ebay within the last few weeks and just smashed them out in about 2 hours.

None taken, the scheme is quite dark and subtle and the white balance has greyed them out a bit.
The pics looked fine on my monitor but when I just checked this post on my phone I couldn't tell if they were painted or not either. I might try and get some better ones today.
There's still a little way to go in terms of weathering but that'll happen once the emplacements have been built and I'll do all of that at the same time.

Yeah, that's kind of the intention.
These are primarily meant to be for overrun/decommissioned artillery emplacement scenery pieces so I didn't want anything that pops too hard otherwise i'll probably find myself charging them at some point!!!

Cheers guys.

Cheers, the pics do seem much better.
Looking at them again today I've decided that I need to dull down the winged skulls on the shields. The colour is just too rich and clean looking at the moment.
I'll probably dig out some transfers or freehand some squad markings/numbers before weathering too.

Now these looks very good in the last picture I dare say, much more so than in the first one where they looked a bit shoddy

Okay, so here's a quick update, sorry if this seems to be turning into a blog guys!
I've touched up the tanks a little and added some transfers.
There was no way that I would freehand these in the amount of time/effort that I was allowing myself for the project.
They look a little shiny on the pics but they're not that bad irl. I probably want two more coats of matt just to take the edge off.
The total working time at the moment is 3.5 hrs.
Hopefully the pics look better this time too.
Cheers.
