Just put some pictures of a Napoleonics game we began, but decided to call of last night after getting entangled in our own discussions. We will start anew soon and then it will be pictures plus a battle report.

Anyway... here is the link to the pictures:

Enjoy,

Burkhard

And the usual pre-view (as always more clickable pictures on the blog):

Thank you guys!

@licclerich: Now I am confused… there are photos showing the whole table and photos showing an area over a meter wide.

Very impressive, that is a lot of toys on the table! I particularly like the picture of the cannons.

Thanks Lewis. The minis are about 2 1/2 years of painting and I was positively stunned by the looks when I first put them on the table together!

Cool. Napoleonic history is very interesting, and I've always fancied trying out a table top game.

Looking good there.

An Armour Save? No, never heard of it. Me? I play Imperial Guard.

I also like the look of them Prussians... even if they will, one day, turn into Germans.

What miniatures have been used here?

An Armour Save? No, never heard of it. Me? I play Imperial Guard.

Thanks a lot... you really, really humble me!

@Tower: The Prussians are virtually exclusively Calpe Miniatures. Two mounted officers are Perry and six Landwehr are Warlord, but all the rest are Calpe.
The French are a wild mix. Half of the Artillery are Perry, the other half are Offensive. The Legérè are Perry plastics (only Bardin uniforms, with metal command and specialists), the Marine Artillery (infantry) and Regiment Espaniol are Victrix and the regular infantry are Calpe (three battalions), Perry plastic (two battalions, only greatcoated minis with a few metals) and Victrix (one battalion).

If you want to see it in more detail:
