Made an agreement for a Heirodule, shown in this post

Agreed on price of $60 incl shipping, user insisted on receiving payment first, settled for $35 up front and promised to provide tracking information and ship the next day.

Money was transferred through paypal on the 25th on November. Shortly after, user messaged me regarding an unspecified issue but promised to have the item shipped within the week.

User claims to have sent it but failed to provide tracking details. After being asked after a further period of time if he had sent it yet, user claimed again to have sent and offered a refund if nothing arrived within a week (date was the 3rd of December).

A week later I messaged again, he asked for my Paypal email to send the refund to. He was given it, no refund was provided, nor were any responses to further messages. User is still active on site making selling threads.




From a non-historical point of view, just my intuition during the entire experience, from the time that he received the money it felt like he was stalling this transaction report to get more possible scams in. User also told me he has postitive reputation on an alternate dakka account "nidzilla666" and could message me on this account if needed. I wanted to make this thread now so hopefully nobody else gets scammed by him before Christmas.

I had a transaction with him a few weeks back. Things were a little dicey but I ended up getting almost everything.

He still owes me a set of NOS bloodcrushers and hasn't responded to my messages regarding them either.

I have his cell phone number still, I think. I'll text him.

Wait, he admitted to having two separate dakka accounts running at the same time? That's a huge 'no-no' on dakka. Time to talk to a MOD, because even if he's being level with you, he's breaking the rules of dakka. If he breaks one, he'll have no issue breaking a second. Talk to the MODs now and get your refund from paypal, if it's still an option.

Yeah, he straight told me when he was asked for positive trading history that he has a multi.

Suggestions how to get Paypal refund? I don't have much knowledge about that.

In particular, trading with multiple accounts is 100% against our rules. Do you have a way to contact him outside of Dakka? (Do not post it here, but Traceoftoxin said he had his cell phone number- do either of you have his email? Actually, you must have it if you sent him PayPal, so that is good.

Soulgrinderxxx, it would behoove you to respond here and resolve all outstanding transactions ASAP.

Shuppet- Log in to your PayPal account and click on that transaction, it should be easy to file a complaint and get refunded IF it was sent within 45 days of now. When did you send payment?

Go into your PayPal account and dispute the transaction. He has a set amount of time to respond satisfactorily. If he doesn't, the escalate it to a claim. You have to do this inside of 45 days from the date of the payment I believe.

I would suggest no-one trade with this guy, at a minimum until this TR is resolved and frankly, if it were me, I wouldn't trade with him at all.

Oh, he knows about the multi-account rule because I told him when he traded with me.

He insisted on payment up front without coverage and finally gave in when I offered to pay the fee difference. His lack of trader rep and the double accounts were giant danger signs to me, but the deal was good so I covered my bases the best I could and went with it. He shipped a few days late but it came in, missing only a set of NOS bloodcrushers (This was a very large lot). He offered to send them when he had the chance and I wasn't worried, it mostly slipped through the cracks. I sent him a message a week or two ago here and on his phone with no responses. Didn't expect much from it.

I sent him another text letting him know about this transaction report, we'll see what comes of it.

I've previously had a positive transaction with him for Zarakynel. He responded quickly to all my PM's and shipped quickly. I highly doubt he's a scammer.

He responded to my text.

Says he's dealing with "the guy in Australia", claims he shipped the item but it was lost (Entirely possible, it is an international package during holiday season). He's away a lot of the time so it's hard to be available often.

I don't know if he plans on making an appearance here or not.

So SHUPPET, will receive a full refund on the 31st (which is pay day for me). I had two accounts because when I was a new user on Nidzilla666 it got suspended because I made two posts back (didn't realize it was against the rules because I was new, honestly can't say I have much time to read through probably hundreds of different rules for the forum because I do have a life outside of this website which takes up a majority of my time and I'm overseas every 6 months practically), but when was the last time you saw a post from Nidzilla666 anyways? Yes I have two, and oce I found out I couldn't have both, I decided not to use Nidzilla666 and made soulgrinderxxx my main one. I'm not trying to scam anyone, and between the two accounts I've had like 6 positive transactions with people to include sales via paypal, AND LARGE SCALE army swaps. I'm more then legit, believe me, sometimes things go wrong that are out of my control and yes I was going to pay SHUPPETT when I had the chance...and I'm still going to. I'm sorry for breaking the rules, I know now, hopefully other people I've done transactions with here can speak on my behalf about their successful business with me. Spacepup1987 is another user I did an army swap with as well if you care to ask him, those brown ntyranids he's selling used to be mine....it was 5k points of nids for 5k points of necrons a while back.

To the OP. Go ahead and file a dispute just in case he is stalling for the 45 day limit. He can always refund you through the disputed transaction. Under no circumstances once you file the dispute should you close it. Very rarely, i've only heard of it once, will PP allow you to reopen it..

@Soulgrinder. What about the other trader here. You going to complete that trade?

In my one interaction with Soulgrinderxxx he requested I pay as a friends and family gift, rather than a business transaction, which limits the buyers protection in case he failed to send or anything. It seemed shady to me, and I'm glad I didn't make the deal now. If anybody else paid him like that, they may not be able to get refunds.

Even with a promise like this, never ever hold off a dispute with PayPal, as there are lots of reports of people trying to delay the transaction so that the time to raise a dispute on PayPal runs out. So raise a dispute and cancel it if the items arrive.

No one should be requesting this in the swap shop. If anyone receives this request in the future, other than from someone they actually know / trust, PLEASE PM me.

He is a legit guy. I had no problems.

For the record - I'm not up in arms about the bloodcrushers. I simply mentioned them because I was giving a full recount of my interactions with him. Don't keep his account locked because of his transaction with me, if I had wanted action taken I would've opened my own transaction report.

While that's kind of you... this TR will not be marked resolved unless that is. Doing so is for other people to determine if the trader has acted to make amends- simply forgiving them is (again) kind, but does not mean that they actually resolved the outstanding transaction.

But regardless of that, at this point, I would like to hear from Shuppet on whether he was able to file a Paypal dispute, or is simply awaiting Soulgrinderxxx to refund him.

The bloodcrushers were less than 2% of the value of the trade he gave me. I saw it as an oversight in packing that I was willing to overlook. If you bought a big lot of 100 marines because you wanted the 85 metal veteran models and it was missing 2 plastic AOBR bolter marines you didn't care about receiving in the first place, would you make a big deal out of it? If he sends me the bloodcrushers, great, if not, I don't care. I got what I wanted at a price I was happy with, I'm content with my interaction with him. I don't want him to have his account locked because of it. Once he resolves his issue with SHUPPET I'd like that to be the end of it.

Noted... let's move on from that line of discussion, please.

$35 refunded to (SHUPPET).
