Well this is a little embarassing. With last week's order of Empire Outriders I'd acquired everything I needed for the Thin Blue Line.

I had close to 50 metal judges ready to to surge forward, several squads of Gendarmerie to sit in the bunkers in the rear etc.

The problem with OOP or conversion armies is you never know when you'll get a chance to get models and when you do you feel you have to try.

So while I certainly never planned to win this action...



Yet here I am.

Costy, but it comes out to less than $5 a model.

So I can now add 9 power maul dudes as crusaders (once I figure out shields for them), a 10 man bolter squad, maybe convert a flamer/shotgun squad...

And still have a few to sell or hoard.

Now all I need is time.

The grand total of 3 models with 1 pose make for a great parade formation.

This wouldn't near as good with Mordians or another metal army.

So the Bandai Yamato kits got some work done.



Counts as Victory Class Battleship (nova cannon and lances). Not sure about the lances on the side... Might chop them back off. Like how the eagles fit though.

F-451 Squads are a vital part of any Arbites Precinct charged with locating and incinerating proscribed texts, and when necessary, their owners. Teams of Firemen are carefully selected for both their inability to read the written word, and their disinterest in learning how to do so.

Well it’s a good thing that it’s AOS now and they are no longer Horses but are now Hworyseas or sum such thing . I still have 4-5 copies of all the battlemaster horses like those to paint up . At least mine are in yellow and blue if I remember correctly.
