Doubtful, as the Shadowkin have been engaged in a war with the followers of Slaanesh in the Realm of Shadow.
But there was talk during the 24 hour stream about Slaanesh apparently.
Slaanesh was mentioned in the stream was that the last one ?

Going off secondhand info. Someone claimed that during the 24 hour stream, they mentioned Slaanesh stuff "coming soon-ish" to tie in with the next Age of Sigmar campaign book.

The tie-in of Slaanesh (and his release) for the next campaign makes sense and IMO has been assumed since the end of the last one. Tzeentch takes ascendance, has a great scheme to blow everything up that is stopped by the good guys. Of course this is Tzeentch, who naturally planned for his plan to fail as part of his grander plan (anything short would simply be poor form for the God of Schemes), which in turn winds up with the release of Slaanesh. Because though the Dark Prince may be an enemy of Tzeentch, it is the latter who is master of the great game, a game that stands to increase in complexity with more players...

Specifically, this has been said in the latest 40k thread:
Chikout wrote:I'm just going to leave this here as I don't think it is thread worthy. Jeremy Vetock was on the live stream just now and he mentioned that new Slaanesh stuff is coming (not soon though) he also said that the developing story will involve necron stuff happening on mechanicus forgeworlds.
It's not much, but I'll take any acknowledgement that Slaanesh is still relevant.

Also worth noting that the overall plot of Shadows over Hammerhal was a Slaaneshi sorcerer trying to revive his god.

If it was just older infantry I'd be worried but the bombers make it highly likely a repack of some kind.
I'm betting we'll see them and a battletome when the GH2 comes out.
Maybe the eight lamentations book will tie-in Grungni mustering his people?

It is extremely likely that it will come out in the middle of July, probably sandwiched between the primaris and deathguard releases. If they are serious about annual releases, having it come out at the same time each year is very important.

They should also name it for the next year so it looks current in 2018 not out of date. They'll encounter that confusion come January.

I like that cover, shows that we've progressed from the Age of Chaos (as Khul was on the last cover) and now officially in the Age of Sigmar where his Stormcast are taking new roles as garrisons and patrols while the growing civilizations have lead to larger and more diverse armies. An Age of Cities.

From Warhammer Community:
The General’s Handbook 2017 – Announced
The General’s Handbook release last year proved to be perhaps the most important book released so far for Warhammer Age of Sigmar.
It introduced the revolutionary concept of the 3 Ways to Play – open, narrative and matched play – and was packed with a massive amount of content for any Warhammer Age of Sigmar fan. You gamers out there loved it, and we saw an explosion of Warhammer Age of Sigmar gaming across the world, from narrative campaigns to awesome multiplayer wars, and a huge increase in matched play tournaments.
But this book was only ever going to be the beginning.
The General’s Handbook is to be the mechanism by which the game is continually supported every year, and we’re delighted to announce today that a sequel is on the way.
The General’s Handbook 2017 will again be an invaluable resource for any Warhammer Age of Sigmar gamer.
For open play, the multiplayer rules have been massively expanded, and now include Triumph & Treachery – devious rules for mid-game betrayals.
Narrative players are about to get really spoilt. With Path to Glory soon to become its own stand-alone expansion, this section has been freed up for a huge amount of new content in the 2017 edition. Highlights include rules for siege warfare in the Mortal Realms and Time of War battlefield rules for locations in every realm (even the one’s we haven’t been to yet!).
Matched play is set to get plenty of updates too. These include new Battleplans, new rules of one, and updated points for units in every faction in the Mortal Realms.
Perhaps most excitingly of all are the new Allegiance Abilities. These are much expanded from those four Grand Alliance army-traits from the previous General’s Handbook. The new book will cover Allegiance Abilities for the likes of Fyreslayers, Seraphon, Slaaneshi hosts, Nighthaunts and over a dozen others.
This book is going to be seriously awesome for any Warhammer Age of Sigmar fan.
For those of you with the current edition, loads of the content in there – such as the battleplans, narrative games and campaign overviews – will remain valuable gaming content, so it will be well worth keeping hold of.
The General’s Handbook 2017 is on the way later this year, and like it’s predecessor, will come in an affordable paperback format.

I call this crap.
I demand my fully, re-fleshed Seraphon battletome. We've been fighting fighting against Chaos since eons before Stormcasts, we deserve it!
Now, what kinda worries me is:
1.- AAs for Slaaneshi hosts. For me that means that Slaanesh will not have a new release soon-er-ish, which also could affect its daemons on 40K.
And I hope that dosen't mean that Nurgle will not have his own BT here. It would be a shame since there are new Beasts incoming for DG, and possibly plastic GUOs.
2.- It also means for every other faction that got a BT between Seraphon and Sylvaneth (Fyreslayers already mentioned, so Everchosen, FEC and IJ) will not get their own updated BTs either.
I do welcome the new AAs, but not giving them any update on their fluff on their own BTs is a bit disappointing, and almost looks lazy if we consider that only SE and Khornate armies got something like that, even when Khorne didn't got any new models to justify the new rules. I get that GW can't just keep updating previous BTs constantly, but still it'd be nice to see them taking their time doing it
However, I can fully expect to see Brets and TK getting AAs here, given that they will give rules to Malignants, who haven't been an actual faction, but two, so that's gonna be great for player that have them.
Now that I mentioned Malignants, who have a SC!, but the Mortis Engine is a Deathmage while the Hexwraiths (quick note: currently unaviable online on the international store) and Spirit Hosts are Nighthaunt... could that mean that former High and Dark Elves will get a similar treatment?

@Krazynadechukr,
Well if it makes you feel any better there's a very talented group working on a Fan-made Bretonnian battletome. Can't reveal anything but it's looking amazing.
Official-wise, we'll just have to wait and see but it's rather unlikely. If anything it'd probably be the human and elven knight orders already in the lore than a return of lost Bretonnians.
Anyway, the new GH book sounds fantastic. Good to see they're taking advantage of that extra room now that PtG is independent.

The old battletomes are really only set apart from new ones by allegiance abilities, so this will pretty much bring them up to speed.

What Relics do Seraphon have that aren't the regular Order Ones?
What Allegiance Wide Special Rules do they have like Stormcasts, Sylvaneth, Kharadron, and Blades of Khorne?
There's a little bit more than just the Allegiance Abilities.

Not sure what you're talking about. Allegiance abilities are army-wide abilities and special item tables; f you don't have allegiance you can't take them. The older battletomes lack that, which sets them apart from newer battletomes. If, say, Ironjawz got allegiance abilities in GHB2 then that would bring their battletome up to speed since they wouldn't be missing out on any content.
