Hows it going everyone as you can tell from the topic i have done a Scratch build Revenant Titan. i have completed my first one but im looking to start a second one as well as start building other Titans. Anyway ill post pictures and a few descriptions on what i have done.

So like a few others out there i used a few tooth brushes as my legs for the simple reason is that i makes the curves alot easier later on.

so i started building the torso with plastic card which i just bent with a heater so that it would form the shape i wanted. which even still i have to use quick set putty i picked up at walmart which i used alot because it set fast and was easy to mold in small quantities.

So as i said before the epoxy was really useful to doing alot of this build and used it to do most of the "Heavy Lifting" with it. if you want to know exactly what putty was ill post it up in a picture. But i have a project im working on right now so ill post more pics in a few. Let me know what you think so far and ill answer any questions that i can. Again this is my first one and im already looking at making a seconded once i figure out how to improve on the first.

ok so got paint on the Webgates that im working on to use as void shields in a upcoming game. Anywho im going to start this on with a few things that i forgot to post about the last pic i posted.

When i was starting the torso i was worried that i wouldnt be able to balance the Titan when i was building because the pulsars where going to be so big,

like i was saying after looking at a ton of pictures of the pulsars that they are huge compared to the titan but i figured that if i used a thin piece of pvc pipe i had laying around which used with the epoxy would make the torso
solid enough to drill into it so i could pin the arms into it. which the pulsars where another problem cause the core of it was some brass rod i picked up at lowes for a few dollars. then using the same epoxy i used for the legs and waist to get the general shape for sanding down to the shape i wanted which looking back i am going to wait to add the tip of the pulsar till the end so the i can use my drill as a makeshift lathe to sand to make the work easier.
Anyway moving on so adding the torso proved to be a easier thing then i thought it was going to be. but once i got it one there and used some epoxy to hold it in place and added the extra pieces of plastic card to bulk out the torso so it didnt look like a skeleton which wouldnt be very good.

But the piece of tubing i used wasnt enough to give the head a base to use so i had to extend it some more with more pvc.
More posts to come let me know what you all think and if you got any ideas love to hear them.

ok so Just took my revenant titan out to play for the first time and let me tell you that thing is a beast but anyway now that im back ill continue showing you the progress of my titan and ill post a pic of the webway gates that im working on right now. so after i got the whole torso issue worked out i filled the rest of the torso with epoxy putty and attached the missle launchers which i used GS so that i could have a little more molding time to get them the way i wanted

after that i turned my attention to the shoulder pads and and the head and i had a couple extra jet bike noses laying around and a few bits from a hemlock jet fighter so i used those bits to do the shoulder pads cause after looking at the pics i was using as a reference found that they fit the bill with a little extra GS to finish them out.

Then the head was another issue i was having cause i didnt know how i was going to build it with out sculpting the whole thing. how ever a midnight wake up fixed that its weird when inspiration will hit you but i ended up cutting up from foam insulation that i have for some terrain projects into a general shape and then sculpted the rest using GS and some of the epoxy putty and a few bits from a ravanger Because about the same time i had the idea for the head, i Decided to make the Titan a Dark Eldar variant because i figured that you dont see many of them out there and i thought it would look good. and i should point out that the knee pads where also added about the same time but that was the only pic i had of the build at that point.

So after theat was all done i turn my attention to the arms and that issue but i just took some of the left over tooth brush pieces and they made nice army so i drilled a hole into them and scpulted the rest of the arm over the end drilled into the tooth brush neck.

After adding all this to the titan i just had some extra detail to put into it. now i know that the picture makes it look really patch work but luckly i know that once i paint it it would come together.

So the base i used a banana Hanger base that i picked up at the store for a few dollars which made a great base for the titan.

So after this i just had to paint and base it which took a day because of the size and paint required to match it to my DE army. But here is the final product Like i have said before let me know that you think ill post pics of the webway gate in a few once i upload the pics to my computer and make some more progress.

I figure a size comparision was in order all in all it measures 12.5" in height w/o the base which is the same height as the FW one.

Ok While i work on The Webgate project which here is what i have right now for the Eldar and a dark eldar version in my mind right now ill leave you with the progress so far.

Well started the big project today with my good friend mxwllmdr. To complete a few project he has been working on but also Start on my own Warhound Titan here is the progress i have got so far not as far as i would like but its been a long day for building so all in all not too upset

But i have got the feet cut out and then both legs just need to glue them all you gether nd will be ready to go to get this puppy standing which is going to be Awsome to see ill post more progress as i get to it.
Im thinking of making them Legio Gryphonicus (war griffions) just because they are the only titan Legio that i know for a fact have fought with the Space wolves. But let me know if you guys can think of another titan legio that has fought with the Space wolves.

Ok so yesterday didnt get quite as much as i wanted to but i didnt get a majority of it done that i wanted too. Aaa real life does a way of side tracking progress you want to get done. either way should be able to acually post my progress today after i get a little more detail done but i have got most of the legs done. which the trim took up alot of my time since this was the first time that i attempted this but after tring a couple of things i got the hang of it and was able to get the legs trimmed before the ball drop and finally turning in for the night.

dont mind the blue stuff on the feet that is sticky tack to help hold pieces in place so that i could move on to the trim of the legs. hoping to get rivets on the joints today and trim the toes and finish some of the hydraulics for the toes.

Alright its that time again, So i have detailed the foot pad with some vent on the sides and then got the bases for the hydraulic lines going up the leg set so This puppy shut be standing up in the next few days im hoping that the pose i put one of the feet in holds the weight but worst comes to worst ill supprort the weight with the base

However, i have also put alot of thought into this and im thinking that im just going to make my own titan legio and have them be the allies of the space wovles that way there will be no issue with the paint scheme i want to do. so im going to start on the legs after im done with this post. so let me know that you think about the titan legio idea. And as always CC is welcome.

Well like my grandpa used to say if it ant broke dont fix it.
besides me and you working together we come up with some good ideas, and i think on the head instead of doing the sloted plastic im going to use the diamond plate to get a different look and i think it would look good once its painted in space wolves colors

Well all i can say is these were not the easiest things to put together but after alot of glue some reinforcing and alot of rubber bands they came together nicely just have to sand them down and they should be ready go get add to my pup. its slow but its also the first time i have put one together like this so its expected but without further ado here are the engines.

Well i havn't been keeping up on the thread but man ill tell you what i had the biggest creavtive block i have had in a long time i just got hung up on the carapace detail. well more specifically the emblem i wanted to put in it. I had been staring at pics from different legos and other things and i came to the conclusion that i would just ally this titan to one of mt SM army since the escalation rules came out it didnt seem to be a bad idea. any how without further ado here is what i have been working on tonight let me know what you think i really like how its come since the block lifted from my mind.

So my next im going to work on the detail of the rest of the torso and on the engine pods
