Hello everyone, as my Elysians are nearing completion I have been debating putting together a variety of Mechanized army lists and this one, run out of Codex Blood Angles, was brought to my attention last night and I am interested to see what you guys think about it. Basically the idea behind this army is to put as much armor 13 on the board as much as possible and to be a very hard hitting and aggressive army. This is my first attempt at this list so please any thoughts, comments, ideas and insights are more then welcome and encouraged, thanks for posting guys!

Tactics:

-The x2 Furioso Libs will fly stay with all my Razorbacks and Vindicators as they will move up the board shielding them with Shield and keeping up with their rapid advance with Wings.

-The x3 Baal Predators will line up on one flank and use their scout and full turn of movement to be in range right off the bat turn one to torch them.

-HQ Libby with Honor Guard will Drop Pod in Turn 1 to focus on a high priority target while the rest of my army flies up the board and getting into my opponents face turn 1 forcing him to pick and choose targets.

Razorbacks kinda stand out, maybe put the marines in pods?

I agree with the razorback comment above. Also the stormshields are crazy points on 3+ basic save guys as they will be taken down by weight of fire, eapecially when you can auto choose shield of sanguinius which is half as good as a storm shield for free (and can effect more than 1 unit.) As smite is pants.
Lastly I would change both furioso librarians to normal furiosos with frag cannons, melta guns and magna grapple in pods. With the points saved you can get another one of these with a pod (more av 13 and 7 pods, so honour guard and all furiosos arrive turn 1). AND you still have 40pts to spare!
Ive run a 3 Flamestorm Baal, 3 Vindi list before. They definitely are fun! Weakness is serpents, as the vindis blast is wasted and nothing else can catch them, and flyers. Oh and MCs.

What does your list do for Anti Air?

Is it enough scoring units?

2 Stormravens would solve so many problems with this list. Exchange them for the 3 Vindys. I second the notion of trading Libby Furiosos for standard in pods.

I also second losing the shields on the Honor Guard. I'm not crazy about the selection to begin with; especially if you make the trades above...then you won't need the extra melta.

You could use the points saved from losing the Honor Guard, remove your Librarian and add Mephiston lol. He's AV13 right? ;P (In all seriousness, he helps against Wave Serpents and the like).

Don't forget that you can outflank your Baal's too. Sometimes just outflanking one can really F with your opponent's deployment.
