Perhaps add another color in. I would suggest blue or whatever is a complement to your army color scheme.

I'd start by cleaning up the surfaces around the grooves, where the inking overflowed. Then I would paint some detail areas, like the bit on the bottom of the taller section, a bone color. Lastly, I'd paint the gems a complementary color, like Blue or Green. If you keep the green closer to yellow, and the blue a deep saturated color, you'll get a great contrast with the surfaces of the wall.

retouch the surfaces so they are clean, and brighten them up. If the wall has taken damage, chip it away, and paint it bone with bone effects. The gems/nubs definately need to be redone in a different color. Lastly, decide, is this in nature, or is this on a platform? Trim the bottom of it with some grass if it's in nature. literally just the edge.

Looks much better cleaned up a bit. I think your onto to something with the different colored gems. I'd think about working up from a dark purple to a light blue for the gems. Using the typical gem style of the purple around the base slowly working up to the white shine dot. Overall I'd be pleased to see something like that across the table from me.

Green contrasts better against red. I'm tempted to suggest a creamy color for the outer rim, but I'm concerns that might be overkill.
