Evening dice-rollers.
Just a few days ago, I posted asking about the KoW armies. I eventually decided to go with Ogres, and yesterday morning my army set was in my hands. Now I didn't have time to open it yesterday so this evening I did so. After opening the first little bag containing some Warriors, I was startled to count only 3 torsos. I didn't open the rest but I counted the torsos in each of them and found out that the set actually contained half of the models it should. Instead of the captain, 12 warriors and 6 shooters, it had the captain, 6 warriors and 3 shooters. I was disappointed, it being my first Mantic buy, but then I know that such things happen, I was probably just unlucky. Monday morning I will take it back to the store and wait for a replacement. I just wanted to ask what is Mantic's policy on replacements and other such occurrences, and if anyone else had similar problems.

They'll sort it out for you but yeah their quality control is pretty horrendous; so much so that I'm done with them until they finally learn to put their big company pants on.

Now that was reassuring.

All my bags of ogres have had 3 in, so it's more that you're missing bags than your bags are missing bits.

But in any case, I'm sure someone somewhere will sort it out (local store or Mantic themselves).

Yes, well that is what I mean. I had a small bag with the Ogre Captain, and then 3 more bags. When I opened the first and saw only 3 Ogres I realized that something was off. Also, there was a piece (part of a crossbow I think) that was just thrown in the box, out of any bags. No bags had any holes from which it might have "escaped".

the extra crossbow bit resolves a known issue. And yes, you've got about half the bags you need, rather than stuff missing from the bags.

IME Mantic are very quick with fixing errors and shipping missing stuff so I'd just fill out the form and let them handle it if I were you.

They will start handling all errors from the DZ KS starting, I believe, monday so they'll be a bit busy but they'll sort you out OK.

Hope I recall correctly: there's not enough bits in the 'default' ranged ogre baggie to make 3 crossbow ogres, so they throw an extra one in so you have enough bits to make all possible configurations.

I thought that was supposed to be fixed for retail release (though this might well still have been packed from the batch from which the KS rewards were supplied). Regardless: that's just there to complete the ogre shooters bag.
