I have to say...that was a pretty bad battle report. Very one-sided with no real shooting from the Tyranids, let alone real threat dispersion. One thing that I noticed that was wrong was that it seemed as though your Tyranid player was not taking checks on those rippers to wound themselves, let alone take notice of the fact that ripper swarms cannot hold an objective. Honestly, the battle report felt a bit staged with the tactics that were used.

I think the video is longer to watch than the amount of time that went into making the lists. I do appreciate the effort that went into the video, but I don't know how the nid player expected to win with that list.

Was this the old book? I'm sorry but that Nids list was awful. Did they have any guns at all?

That was the old codex, and I think he had 3 sources of shooting being the 2 groups of Zoanthropes and 1 cannon on a warrior.

It was kind of a rough game for the nids... dice didn't help either. Personally I felt he didn't play aggressive enough with the nids and really it started with his deployment. He should have had the guants screening and running the whole time and concentrating what little fire power he had at choice targets.

but a rematch is in order...
