I'm terrible at these introduction thingies, so I'll just go straight onto the battle report.
My Army
General: Chieftain with Enchanted Shield, heavy armour - 59pts
Heroes: Warlock Engineer with Warpstone Amulet, Storm Daemon, warp blades, upgraded warp-energy condenser - 120pts
Core: 30 Clanrats with standard, musician - 165pts
30 Clanrats with standard, musician - 165pts
9 Night Runners - 45pts
Special: 20 Plague Monks with additional hand weapons, standard bearer with Banner of Burning Hatred - 195pts
749pts
My opponent had 2 chariots, 8 winged things, a Shaman with 2 dispel scrolls, a fighter-style hero and 20 or so beasts (no idea what they're called)
Terrain: There was a forest at the right-hand corner of my deployment zone, a hill a bit in front of it and two forests and a hill in my opponent's deployment zone.
Deployment: One clanrat unit (CR1) was about 8" apart from the clanrat unit with my chieftain in it (CR2).
CR 2 was next to the hill. My Night Runners went in front of my clanrats, in the gap between them, and my Plague Monks went between the clanrats. My opponent's winged beastmen went behind the forest, his chariots went in front of it. The beast herds were out in the open, his general in one unit and his shaman behind the other.
Turn 1: My troops advanced, keeping in the same formation. My Engineer's warp lightnings were dispelled. This happened all game due to dispel scrolls and poor rolling, so I won't bother saying it over and over again.

The winged beastmen came out and got into position to charge the night runners. The chariots moved to charge CR1. The beast herds moved forwards. The shaman, with useless spells, did nothing.
Turn 2: I wheeled CR1 so the chariots were no longer in its flank, and turned the plague monks towards the night runners.
The chariots charged CR1, the winged beastmen charged the night runners, who fled. After a pathetic flee move, they were run down. The beast herds advanced. CR1, while badly beaten up, held.
Turn 3: My plague monks countercharged the winged beastmen (the position of my night runners was a set-up), and CR2 went towards the beast herd with the hero in it. The chariots were broken and run down due to CR1's superior numbers.
. The plague monks wiped out the winged beastmen to the man (or beast).

CR2 was charged by the beast herd and flank charged by the other (oops).
They broke and were run down.
Turn 4: My plague monks saw the shaman, and ran towards him in a fit of fury due to their banner. (: CR1 turned around and went towards the beast herds. My engineer chittered in fear at the sight of the beast herds near him.
The beast herd with the hero charged by engineer, the one without rear charged the plague monks. My engineer was saved from certain death by his amulet
, but fled off the table.
The plague monks killed so many beasts that the combat was drawn, despite their rear attack.
Turn 5: CR1 marched towards the beasts attacking the plague monks, but they needed no help. The beasts fled under the frenzied assault of the disciples of Clan Pestilens and were run down.

The last beast herd ran towards the Skaven, unable to accept their defeat.
Turn 6: The plague monks charged the beast herd, and
CR 1 went in their flank. After a short but desperate battle, the beasts fled and were cut down by the Plague Monks.

Survivors: Most of CR1 and my plague monks, and the shaman.
