To use drop pods, am I going to have to buy a bunch of those really expensive Forge World models? Can I make my own? And if I can make my own, any suggestions would be nice.
You can make your own, as long as they're of a similar size. The french GW site even had templates up of a dread version. I think I have them somewere...
With the galaxy as large as it is the odds of the average guardsmen seeing and fighting a marine or MEQ are relatively slim. Unfortunately the guardsmen in your (and anyone else who plays IG's) army are the REALLY, REALLY LUCKY ones that fight marines ALL the time...
