I'm here to present a brand new game: Last Saga. This new project from Rocket Games hopes to have a niche for those players hungering for tactical action in a sci-fi environment, and also providing high quality miniatures for collectors and painters.

Runnin up on ya.

Very very nice and I absolutely love how you presented your work, from artwork to 3d print.

Six mistakes mankind keeps making century after century: Believing that personal gain is made by crushing others; Worrying about things that cannot be changed or corrected; Insisting that a thing is impossible because we cannot accomplish it; Refusing to set aside trivial preferences; Neglecting development and refinement of the mind; Attempting to compel others to believe and live as we do

Hello and thanks for the good comments! About the size, females are 32mm from the feet to the top of the head, while males are 35mm.

Here you have a comparative photo of the model with models from other companies.

We are working hard for this project to come true, and we appreciate every hint you can give us for this to work. Don't hesitate to do so, via this post, facebook ( https://www.facebook.com/pages/Rocketgames/463135873795780 ) or mail ( info@rockegames.co.uk )

Hello everyone! With intention of taking news to the same level on every site, I want to share all the work we have done so far.

Besides the paramedic girl (which is in casting process right now and first copies should be available soon), the state of development of the other miniatures are:

Fusilier: Is in process of 3D printing, here I share the concept art and the render. When the model arrives, you will see a complete photoshoot.

Phantom: In process of 3D modeling, here are the concept art and a very early stage of the render. This weekend we should have an almost finished render.

Manticore: Concept art finished, should be the next going to the rendering workshop!

Unknown!: First of the alien races, we will share the concept art as soon as we have it!

Also, we are working on a preview of the game system. I will include a few examples explaining how game works shortly.

Hope you like it!

The quality of the sculpting is great but the concept for the medic is painfully stupid.

Exposed midriff? Arms? Lower legs? Yeah, because people who routinely work with bodily fluids LOVE to get that gak on them. Blood borne pathogens are sexy, yes?

I know realism goes out the window with most miniatures and game settings, but come on.

I like the Lara medic, you could always take the phantom and paint a red cross on it.

I like the phantom although I'd be slightly concerned with the thickness of the legs around the knee ending up being a snapping point on the figure

Hi all! We have been working hard the past two weeks, so our apologies for the silence.

After some problems in the 3D modeling process with the phantom (some scorched hardware) we have a WIP preview that we can show.

Consider that still is a work in progress, so proportions adjustment are not finished. We are considering everyone's thoughts, like the thickness around the knees (thanks Orlando), and some other problems that occur when translating a concept art into a 3D model. With the correct corporal posture, equipment details and with a deadly sniper rifle, we know it will be awesome!

Tomorrow I will share a preview of the very first of the alien races! Is an amazing concept art, but while subject to changes, we want you to see it.

Please share your opinions, they are very important to us and help our development process.

I like the designs. They look like they'll match up well with other ranges like Infinity or Mercs. The Manticore and the Fusilier I especially like.

My one concern though, and maybe this is just me, but it seems like either the legs on some of the designs are too long. In the Phantom's case, it looks like the arms are too short.

She obviously has an anti gak energy shield

Liking what I'm seeing so far, though if the male models are noticeably larger than the rest of my collection that will stop me picking them up. Why did you decide on 35mm for the range? (the height you mentioned for male figs)

Also I might have missed it(sorry if I have) but what are you going to cast them in? and what price point are you looking at?

Looks very nice!

Almost Infinity-esque proportions, if some of the style is the same they could also be a good proxy for that game.

Thanks for your comments!

Joe, about the size of the miniatures, don´t worry, they fit perfectly with other works you usually find in the market. While our intention is to provide a fully playable game, we know some people will want our models for other purposes. So we design them seeking a size that is usually used in the market. With this in mind, we measure our models from the top of the head to the plant of the feet. This is typically 32mm for females and 35mm for male models.

On the material question, we plan to cast initially with resin, but we are seriously considering to cast in metal, more about this in near future.

And finally, I can assure you that the final price will be very competitive comparing the standard price you find today in the market.

Hope this helps! Please leave any other questions you may have.

Ooooh nice! I never owned any sci-fi minis but if other works are done similar to the style of current ones, I'll definitely look into it. Love how it mixed a bit of cyberpunk-ish feel and not over-the-top tech looks.

Looks very promising.
The first picture reminds me of the TGG Heroines, that might work well together.
Looking forward to more info on this.

Hi all!

There is a first look of the first of the alien races. It is also a WIP, but tests like this are needed to find what we think will suit the game better.

Also, in a few weeks we should have a solid base for the Kickstarter project we want to launch, so we will give more details in near future about the concept arts, the game system and much more!

Remember you can view a complete look of the work until today in our facebook page!

Thanks!

Hi all!

Have been a few days of hard work, but finally we have the beta version of the manual, to receive opinions and critics that give us valuable information to improve the game. The Spanish version is available for download in the next link:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/zzflyamnzndaypr/LastSaga_ES_beta_v0.1.pdf

The English version is being corrected and will be available as soon as possible.

You can leave your thoughts in our dedicated email: rules_ls@rocketgames.co.uk

Also we want to share the first concept from the Uruhvel faction. This is an Advanced Unit, and will be equipped with some sort of organic weapon.

Finally, the Phantom is almost done, here you have the 3d render. Only a few details more and will be finished!

Remember to visit our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/RocketGames.ltd for more updates! Greetings!

I'm digging it. I really like the Uruhvel faction, it's seems a lot more thought put into than most alien races, be it games or movies. Most alien races seem to have the goal of being bizarre and exotic as possible. Long necks, big monochrome eyes, huge upper body with tiny dwarf legs, bald heads with metal rods implanted into their head.

One of the props I have to give the guys at Corvus Beli is both the elegance of their alien races and taking some common features used for Sci fi aliens but making them blend so well with the overall theme and shape of the race. Instead of a huge head on a twig sized body.

By the way, how does one pronounce Uruhvel

I'm thinking it is Err-uh-vel but can see another way you may pronounce it.

I was wondering what happened to this one. Is that organic armor on the Uruhvel? If so, you've got my attention. Though, he needs a mask of some sort.

Was this going to be a Kickstarter? When were you guys thinking of launching? I'd like to have funds in reserve for it.

I like it without a face mask, reminds me something more of a space opera style helmet appose to a more hard sci fi. Then again, Him/her/it having a organic weapon, perhaps the armor is organic that allows the suit to form a mask when needed, combat, biological warfare or planet that does not have appropriate atmosphere to breathe.

Thanks you for your comments!

Uruhvel race uses biotechnology, so armor, weapons and equipment will have a very organic look. This will be the trademark of the faction. We didn't choose a hard scifi, because we think that having a little more room for design gives us the chance of making more cool concepts.

I'm interested, not sure about the rules but more high quality scifi miniatures that are not ham fisted or to lack an creative thought is welcome in my books.

Hopefully it will start and finish before zombicide season 3. But after I recoup my money from my new Mortise and Tenon Joiner.
