Dives with Horses

I have about 70 kroot to get painted and am pretty sure I am going to dip (althouogh I am not 100% convinced it is THAT much faster than inking which you can do stupid fast anyway)

I was thinking that I wanted to do a bright(ish) yellow base and then do a chestnut ink over top of that, any suggestions/experiences?

dipping takes a long time, i have & will continue to ink wash my nids. i have painted my nids ivory,bone & shades of green & then i wash them with chestnut ink & it pulls

Maybe he means the cure time for the minwax (or whatever you're dipping with)? That does take 12-ish hours/overnight...
