Hi all,

I recently discovered a range of sci-fi female (rather sexy) miniatures from a couple of companies, such as Raging Heroes, Kingdom Death and so on. Won't post the link, since I'm not interest in advertising them and I don't know if it's allowed. Some of them look perfect as IG commissars, other ones seems meant to be Inquisition Death Cult Assassins & female Priests, while others can be depict Sister of Battle pretty well.

I already have an army of Chaos Space Marines and Daemons, so starting an Imperial Guard army could be very interesting, as it is one of the best allies for CSMs. However I'd also love to play them as loyalists, both because it would be nice to change sometimes and because I believe that IG probably benefits more from allying with Inquisition and some eventual Adepta Sororitas than with CSMs.

So I said: wonderful, I paint them such as they can be plausible both as loyalists and traitors and with with a new female IG regiment with a few inquisition/adepta sororitas units I can play:

CSM
CSM + CD
CSM + IG
IG + CSM
IG + SoB + Inquisition

which is a lot of variety in terms of game play.

The true question is:
How do I paint them?
An army of sexy and angry women with pink/purple/violet as primary color would be a perfectly plausible "new and fresh" Slaanesh traitor cult, even without any sign of mutation (turned traitors too recently to be affected by the Warp). But would they look good as loyalists? I'm afraid not...
So do you have any paint scheme suggestions that allow me to use pink/purple/violet for an IG regiment?
Or even better something that looks cool both for loyalist and traitors?

Take a look at the Victoria miniatures as well. She just released some female imperial guard that are quite nice.

Boring to some but i have gone with the classic cadian colour scheme (was going to use prospero spireguard but since they are completely wiped out...)

So far i have roughly equal male and female troops using necromunda, cadian, cultists and some non-gw models for the force. With lots of bits to kit bash so no two models look the same. I have necromunda escher with shotgun as my champions and they look great in cadian colours.

Mix up those kits enough with official gw stuff so you can still take them to gw stores. My first set of troops i didnt do this and regret it as they are illegal to take to gw.

The one unit mentioned in canon would be the Cult of Athena. Not much has been published about them, other than Warrior Woman's discussions from Col Schaeffer's Last Chancers, so you have a big window to fluff up.

Technically, they're renegades and outlaws fighting against the Imperium, but they also fight against the Imperium's enemies, like the Dark Eldar, so they sorta switch-hit, depending.

I did not find Cult of Athena, did you mean Cult of Artemis?
This looks really promising.. is it possible to find something more somewhere about it?

However I'm still really unsure on the colour scheme... does anyone have any idea?
