It doesn't really fit with the aesthetic of Eldar, in my opinion. It's got the vibrancy but none of the order and fine, intricate details. The colors are just all over the place and far too random. Then again, it's painted beautifully and you've done an excellent job painting it in such a style. I just don't like the style.

I'll also echo that the pose looks off. I get what you were going for, but it just doesn't work quite right. The right arm specifically looks awkward.

Random colors is not here. I see such Eldar-especially for titanium has a name-Phantom. What I tried to convey the paint). I never configured the human approach to ALIEN SPACE RACE.

Juw WOW! Amazing designs. Close up shots please!

Life is like a box of chocolates. A cheap, thoughtless and perfunctory gift nobody ever asked for. Unreturnable because all you get back is another box of chocolates. So you're stuck with this undefinable whipped mint crap that you mindlessly wolf down because there's nothing left to drink. Sure once in a while there's a peanut butter cup or a English toffee, but they're gone too fast and the taste is fleeting. So you end up with nothing but broken bits of hardened jelly and teeth shattering nuts. If you're desperate enough to eat those all you've got left is a. An empty box, filled with useless brown paper wrappers.

I'm still amazed at your technical prowess, Demidov. You manage to achieve by hand what few would even attempt without significant airbrush experience and a wide array of masks, let alone finish this cleanly. It's about as far removed from my style as possible - very busy (I might even say "cluttered"), with all the vibrant colors and intricate patterns - but that doesn't stop me from being impressed.

Keep on posting your stuff! Love it or not, it's always worth a look.

Amazing painting, the scale effect is awesome.

I just don't really like the colour scheme though, no matter how well it is executed.

This is what I see when I look at it. I think your attempt to convey a sense of true "alienness" by going beyond the generally accepted aesthetic conventions is resoundingly successful! This is art in the true sense, beyond mere craft (of which there is plenty in this piece, don't get me wrong!)

I think the painting is amazingly well done. The multiple colors and scale pattern makes me imagine the titan's color is fluctuating, which I think is the intended effect. Incredible

Bye bye Dakkadakka, happy hobbying! I really enjoyed my time on here. Opinions were always my own :-)

You are right - Eldar name of another rasa.Tam things differently and does not seem to nshe perception of the world. I wanted to show it. Plus some spirit warp, otherworldly energy. Protective shields, etc.

I'd agree with this, your eyes are drawn all over the place, there's no central spot and it's just confusing..
Beautifully done, but badly picked.

I think its an unbelievable paintjob, and in some way like that it has no focal point. It seems maybe not Eldar like to me, but extremely alien, as if it was coloured in a way to have an effect on the mind, to add to the awe and shock value it brings. Not sure if that makes sense but sticking with it. Overall extremely well done IMO.

The paint job borders on excess without crossing the line. Perfect! Didn't even notice the pose, was too transfixed by the colour!

Good God, that's amazing! Are you telling me you painted on that hex pattern by hand? The different patterns look amazing, and I'm impressed by how many different ones you've used.

You did this all by hand? With no airbrush? That's incredibly impressive! I must say, while it's not the sort of colour scheme that I would use on my models (assuming I had the talent to do so), it truly is stunning work.

If I may ask, for how long have you been painting?

What do you call a lasgun with a laser sight? Twin-linked.

Unreal... I love it and absolutely agree with your point about the Eldar shields dismaying and confusing opponents; in the background there are many descriptions of Eldar vehicles appearing in such a way as to render the true nature of the vehicle incomprehensible and this paint scheme seems to be about as close as you can get to portraying that effect. Excellent stuff!
