I'm not very good at writing tournament lists, but I figured I'd start trying and just see what I can come up with.

For an upcoming local tournament:

HQ Farseer
HQ Spiritseer

Troops (x4) 5x Wraithguard
Transport (x4) Wave Serpent w/ Scatter Laser, Holo-Fields

Heavy Wraithknight w/ Suncannon, Scattershield, Scatter Laser, Star Cannon
Heavy Wraithknight w/ Suncannon, Scattershield, Scatter Laser, Star Cannon

Total: 1990

The idea:
Basically have the spiritseer embarked on one of the wave serpents, where he may or may not do something during the game (can he cast psychic power on himself in a transport?). The Farseer accompanies one other unit and uses either Runes of Fate, Telepathy or Divination as needed. The Wraithknights work in tandem, supporting each other and moving up the field. The serpents can handle flyers and most light armor, and if they get popped there are T6 Wraithguard there to continue pressing forward.

Other ideas I had toyed with was removing the farseer and one squad of Wraithguard + serpent, and then running a unit of 10 Wraithblades with Ghost Axes and Force Shields accompanied by the Spirit Seer to give them Conceal and ideally quicken. If the tournament allows FW (not sure yet) then I could run a Wraithseer behind the blade blob to give them fleet. With quicken, that would be an INCREDIBLY fast unit flying across the table.

Thoughts?

One of them filthy casuals...

He can only cast on himself or the unit he's part of while in transport. Or can cast in transport he is in. But cannot cast on any other unit.

Do the second option!!! 10 wraith blades are nasty!! In a 3,750 game I played my wraith blades 10 with axes got 8 of my 19 KP for the win against tau!!! They are a great option as either a big distraction, or if they make it to combat (which some will) they will rape average infantry and can hold their own against elites. But don't send them against terminators and expect the win you'll lose horribly.

One advice I can give you is to drop Starcannons from both Wraithknights, as MC they can only fire 2 guns and drop Suncannon/Scatterlaser from the other to give him Heavy Wraithcannons. With those points give your Farseer the Jetbike and the Mantle of the Laughing God and you'll be able to support your line all game long with 2++ rerollable if you as much as move.
