Hey Guys and Gals.

I've been collecting Salamanders for years. I've received nicely painted ones from friends as gifts and others from people who gave up on their armies entirely. That aside I was able to make most of them look uniform. However, I have always had trouble making the bases look uniform. I've always been afraid I would ruin the model in the process.

So, my question is. Have any of you re-based an entire army and if so, what was the best way ?

Attention Campers. Lunch has been canceled today, due to lack of hustle.......Deal with it.

depends... sometimes I've been able to pry the model off the base without damage to the model, other times i've wedged my clippers under the model's feet and hoped for the best, other times I've sacrificed the bases to the base gods and simply snipped the base away from the model's foot and then filed the feet down... It depnds on the type and quantity of glue used.

To glimpse the future, you must look to the past and understand it. Names may change, but human behavior repeats itself. Prophetic insight is nothing more than profound hindsight.

It doesn't matter how bloody far the apple falls from the tree. If the apple fell off of a Granny Smith, that apple is going to grow into a Granny bloody Smith. The only difference is whether that apple grows in the shade of the tree it fell from.
