Mounted Kroot Tracker

So I'm taking my Kroot army to a combat patrol tournament this weekend, and 4 of the 6 missions use infiltrate.  Of those 6 missions, 4 will be randomly selected for the tournament.  So at worst, 50% of the games will have infiltrate, and at best, 100% will.  Now, what I found extremely interesting was that the rules for infiltrate are that you can deploy 12" away from any enemy unit instead of 18", the logic being that if the size of the table is scaled down then the range of infiltration is as well.  At first glance, I think I'll have an overpowering advantage in a combat patrol where my 50 Kroot can set-up 12" away from the enemy.  I have 20 models with fleet, so if I get the first turn I'll have 20 models with a first-turn assault in a 400 point game.

Has anyone played a combat patrol where infiltrators can set-up 12"?  If so, did it unbalance the game?  Note: The rules specifically says 'over 12" away', so no first turn assaults with everything or rapid fire ranges on the first turn.
