Your going to want some hive guard if your tyrant is walking. They will bubble wrap him and keep him safe.

The genestealers aren't very good. Those points are better spent in other places for now such as adding more warriors.

A tervigon is not a bad idea. They let you spawn free hormagaunts. That should be reason enough to field one.

In the future consider adding a Moloch or a trygon.

Oh and biovores aren't all that good. I prefer exocrines.

Usually, a shooty army is a very good idea in this edition. =)

The biovores i like a lot. It depends a lot on what you'll face though. Swarms or foot armies, they are awesome. Flyers or vehicules army, you won't do much.
The super range is fun though. Means you can actually shoot the first two turns. (rupute cannon and the venom canons are the other guns with good range)

With the boost in price, it is usually better to get a Tyrant instead of a Prime. At low point games Big Bugs really dominate, so I'd suggest adding something there. You can drop the Stealers without losing much, thats 112. If you trim the Gaunts some you should be able to find enough points to make some changes.

Biovore are a good unit. Though it depends on "style". Me? I don't have much use for them, I'd drop them, and use the points from the Stealers, and two Hormagaunts to buy a Tyranofex with Adrenal Gland, and a Thorax Hive (200 points) because thats my "style"

i never noticed it was a tyranid prime and not an Hive tyrant ( dont think ionusx saw it either.)
Aside from a few niche strategies, the tyranid prime isn't worth it, specialy not as your only HQ. Switch to Hive Tyrant.

Well I figured "the plan" was to put the Prime in the Hormie Brood....not a bad plan, I just think the points could be spent better elsewhere If Prime is popped into the Hormies it should get Adrenals though, so it doesn't slow the Brood down. (as much)

Looking more closely...I don't Think you can put a Venom Cannon on a Prime, if you've already glued, well... mod it a little, and call it a Miasma Cannon. That will boost the cost some, but a Miasma Cannon is a fairly cool piece of kit

I don't play tyranids, but I've got a friend who constantly talks about tactica. He says use a lot of carnifexes, always arm termagant a with guns and use a lot of termies and hormies

Hey guys sorry for the late reply been a bit busy. I have looked at the feedback and I have a new list and some questions.

HQ:
Hive tyrant - 165

Elites:
2x venomthropes - 90

Troops:
18x hormagaunts - 90

20x termagaunts 7xdevourers - 108

20x termagaunts 7xdevourers - 108

3x tyranids warriors 2x deathspitters , 1x barbed strangler - 110

Heavy support:
2x biovores - 80

carnifex 2x tl devourers with brainleech worms - 150

total points 901 (99 unused)

Ok now I have a few questions:
1.what biomorphs should I put on tyrant?.
2.are those devourers on the termagaunts good or should I increase the amount or just drop them to free up points?.

Personally, I would drop the devs off of the terms. I prefer to keep my little guys bare and use the points for either more bodies or to upgrade my MCs.
As for the tyrant, I would give him 2 tyrant guard. They will allow him to survive much longer and get into cc. That will be 100 points. So with the remaining 56 points (coming from dropping the devs), I would give him a LW/BS, TS, and a HVC. This would vastly improve his cc ability and give him a decent gun to pop any transports so he can get at the squishy troops inside.

Necrons - 3000 pts
HH Imperial Militia/Cults - 1000 points Check out my P&M blog! (https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/805464.page)
Bretonnia - 4500 pts

Me i'd keep the devs, i love them.
For the Hive Tyrant, heavy venom canon and TL Brain leech devs.
If you have one, i'd add a zoanthropes to help synapses. Then a tyrant guard or another biovores maybe.

Usually, i prefer to keep my walkrant far away so it doesn't die. Not giving Slay the Warlord and the synapse is very important. ( he can babysit the biovores, preferably in ruins)

Looks "OK". When you add the cost of the Guard, you can see why everybody loves the Wing Tyrant. The only weakness is lack of Synapse, and at low point games, it is hard to fix.....The cheapist way to add more is a Zoey, but that means dropping a Veno,(+1 Hormie) and having two solo 'thropes offering easy "first blood".

Me I'd do it. I'd leave the Warriors to babysit the Biovores, and Run the Tyrant foward with the Veno.(bubble wrap him as well) That will likely draw most (or all ) of the fire. That way the Zoey can tend the midfield, and convoy the rest of the bugs foward.
