So, now the imperium can turn into daemons...?

I'm sure im not the only one who thought of doing this, but
Wouldn't it be really cool if instead if turning into daemons, they turned into angels?
Kinda like Saint Celestine?
Wouldn't it be totally friggen sick to have your Chapter Master or Librarian to channel the power of the Chapter's primarch?
Wether or not this will be amended into official lore is anyone's guess, probably not right? I just think it fits better.
What are your plans for demonology? Are you gonna use it? Are you gonna do anything special with it as far as your army goes?

Tell me what you think

The debate on whether things like the Legion of the Damned, living Saints, the Sanguinor and what not are Imperial Daemons or not is an unresolved one, and some might be unhappy if the answer is yes, there are literal Angyls of the Emperor.

But honestly with ten-eleven thousand years of quadrillions of people intensely following a religion I'd be surprised if the Imperial Creed hasn't had it's own effects on the warp.

Once more, is there any confirmation that all armies get access to every BRB lore? Because I still don't believe they will.

I don't see really much the problem with Daemonology, the Imperium is a big place with a lot of people, some of them crazy enough to try to use Daemons.

I highly doubt that the GK will be mass summoning hordes of daemons to battle those hordes of daemons they dedicate their lives to fighting.

I also doubt that the eldar will be summoning daemons of slaanesh, their greatest enemy bar the necrons.

And the rumour as of now is that every army (except nids because nids dont deserve anything aparently) will have access to daemonology so prepare for the everyone has daemons cancer.

When it comes to Daemonology, there's no doubt.

Actually, it's been confirmed that:
1. Grey Knights cannot use Malefic powers, AND, they are the only ones who don't suffer Perils on any double when using Sancitc powers.

2. Daemons cannot use Sanctic, AND, they are the only ones who don't suffer Perils on any double when using Malefic powers.

So no, there's no way for GK's to summon hordes of daemons, unless you ally in someone capable of doing so. However, considering that Perils now gets it's own table to roll on, and that only Daemons themselves are relatively 'safe' when casting Malefic powers, even having allies summon daemonic help is going to be risky. (especially if the Perils table has a result(s) that start inflicting auto-hits on all psykers, or begins throwing about S6 blasts, etc...)

Eldar might still try it, since they have things like Ghosthelms to help protect from Perils.

CSM's can use Daemon Princes and/or a Sorcerer with the Prophet of the Voices relic from the Crimson Slaughter supplement to gain safer Malefic casters.

Everyone else will have a fun time Periling themselves into oblivion though...

FAQs will get updated with some of those stipulations. I highly doubt basic Pink Horrors will get access to it.

Even if Pinkies get it, they're still almost certainly better of keeping Flickering Fire and potentially now scoring Bolt of Change as an added bonus.

Portalglyph summoned, or Warpstorm or Riftbringer generated Horrors might have more of an excuse to try their luck on the Malefic roulette if the do gain access to it though!

I'm more curious as to what changes were made to allow Pink Horrors to not have to choose the Change discipline. Cause they specifically mention them summoning Heralds, which would infer that thy can in fact just choose Daemonology.

If I lose it is because I had bad luck, if you win it is because you cheated.

As a fellow Wolves brother, you should have the same plans I do. To summon Wulfen of the 13th Company. I'm gonna make up fluff that has it so my Psycher calls out for assistance but it's intercepted by the 13th Company who show up from the Warp instead of Daemons to provide aid and keep my Wolves free of Chaos taint.

1830
Fateweaver
15 Tzeentch Heralds, ML3, one with Portaglyph
Bastion

Assuming Fateweaver gives 8 dice (Both heads are ML4, dunno if they both apply), plus the 45 dice from having 15 tzeentch psykers and the average +3 dice from the D6 at the beginning of the psychic phase, I'll have 56 dice to roll on the daemonology table. If it takes ~6 dice for the primaris to go off, I'll be generating ~9 squads of Pink Horrors a turn, plus an additional chance to summon a squad from the portaglyph. Currently, all of these squads will then add to the number of summon dice I get to roll because they're ML1.

It'll be like bacteria in a petri dish.

Why bother buying a portalglyph? Why not just summon a tzerald with portalglyph since they get a free 30 points worth of upgrades. Oh and dont forget to summon a grim holder as well because we can't have enemies with invulnerable saves we can only have tzeentch with massed +1 invul power to give everyone a 2++ rerollable cuz hooray tzeentch.

Model your Daemon stand in however you like, Astorath the Grim as a "counts as" Bloodthirster.

Personally I'm more intrigued by the Sanctic discipline, but Emperor devoted "living saints" is fine by me.

I already have my imperial daemons and they seem to be doing great right now. My narrative forging list of Legion of the Damned primary assisting some ultramarines lead by tigurious and a xeno inquisitor that have requested the aid of these tau who go out of their way to kill marines until the thunderhawk can arrive to deliver reinforcements (LotD prim, Gravstar Allies, Servo skull inquissy, and firebase formation with a skyshield)

I wonder if Weirdboyz are going to be able to use it. I keep hearing a lot of contradictory stuff on them, but I guess if it's BRB then it's BRB.

The Ork psychic game has been a very weird one all 6th edition and I'd expect it to also continue to be the odd duck out in 7th edition.

I just wish that Khornate Demons get access to summoning. It's not like it's trickery, right? Just some more Troops on the ground, slaughtering in the name of the blood god, right and proper.

That's what the portalglyph is for.
