I don't do battle reports very often. But I did one recently because I saw this guys army and loved the look of it. I begged him to let me borrow it. I'm actually not a Space marine player at all, but Ive fought them before and thought "hey... How hard could it be?...

So here's part one and two. Not sure why it split it up. Kinda annoying. Nonetheless, you might find it interesting.

Nice to see fluffy armies, although it was cringe-worthy to see your opponent move so far forward to even allow a turn 1 assault. He had so many points tied up with an assault oriented Wraithguard unit with no Hit and Run capability, it became a foregone conclusion right from the beginning, sadly.

Nice report overall, but a bit dark to really see some of the details you were trying to point out.

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.

It was Relic so he DID have to take a risk moving forward like he did. Rolled a 5 for his run. I had to make like 9 and 10 inch charges, so i was fortunate to have gotten the charges. The hypotenuse made that a long trip to the middle.

But yeah i really loved playing such a plain Jane force with next to no wargear. Just as fluffy a Space Wolf army as you can get against a VERY Iyanden force. It was, as you say, great fun to see fluffy going on in 40K games.

I edit'd this to be easier to see and made a couple other edits. Should be more fun to watch.
