Hello all so I wanted to create a good Enclave/Empire list that would work for most game types as well as take on most enemies. I'm not trying to ultra-cheese people out but I am trying to make the most of both codices.

FARSIGHT ENCLAVE PRIMARY

HQ:
Farsight with 3 Body Guards
3x Crisis suits 2(2 Plasma Rifles) 1VRT, 1 STIM, 1(2 Fusion Blasters, Target lock)
4x Shield Drones
Farsight is a Fluffy choice here, I don't know that I'd use his Warlord trait but it could come in handy. I might want to downgrade the bodyguards to be regular crisis suits so if need be I can have Farsight drop these guys off at an objective

Battlesuit Commander (2 Missile Pods, Drone Controller, Target lock, Talisman of Arthas Moloch)
2 Marker Drones
Bread and Butter, I will do what I can to keep this one alive... if not, that's...okay

TROOPS:
3x Crisis Suits (2 Missile Pods) 3x Shield Drones
Backfield Objective takers and long range missile support
2x Crisis Suits (2 Burst Cannons) 4x Gun Drones
Infantry Killers, these guys may deep strike behind a weak unit to vaporize...maybe I could get rid of the drones for another suit....
ELITES:
Riptide (Heavy Burst Cannon, SMS, ATS, EWO, ECPA)
Riptide (Ion Accelerator, Fusion Blaster, EWO, Stimulant Injector)
I know, multiple Riptides is cheesy, but just one is too easy
FAST ATTACK:
4x Marker Drones
Goes with the Markerlight Commander
TAU EMPIRE

HQ:
Battlesuit Commander (Cyclic Ion Blaster, Stim Injector, Iridium, C&CN, MSSS, NWSJ, VRT) 2x Shield Drones
goes with Riptide, Crisis, or Broadside Unit.

TROOPS:
12x Fire Warriors
back field objective runners, should I split into 2 x 6?
HEAVY SUPPORT:
3x Broadside Unit (HYMP, SMS, EWO) 1 Shas'vre Upgrade, 3x Shield Drones)
Supports the Fire Warrior Unit

I've tried to outline the purpose of each unit but basically I want mobility and I want my shots to hit. I'm not trying to table my opponent here I am more focused on securing objectives though taking out my enemies units shouldn't be out of the question. I wanted to build a battle suit themed list after reading that they can now do their jetpack thrust moves after deepstriking (That is amazing!) Battlesuit lists have their weaknesses so I'm open to suggestions here.

Thanks for putting this up. Ive been wanting to do a more mobile and aggressive Tau list too. Just remember that in 7th an independent character can't join a monstrous creature. So no more buff'mmander/riptide shenanigans. Also for the points, I'd prefer to drop the heavy burst riptide and get another squad of broadsides. Since 7th hit, I've been tempted to go with railsides for the AP1. Use the buffmander on them drop the CandCnode (they're already twin linked and you can't reroll a reroll). Give him the MSS for ign cover and Pen Chip for Monster or tank hunter. That's your MC and Tank killing covered.

For your crisis suits that are anti-infantry, you could run a pair of flamers and maybe Vectored Retro Thrusters to get out of CC fast. For my anti-infantry, I do a flamer and a twin-linked burst cannon. I wouldn't bother with some of the drones as they can make you leadership check as they count as units in the squad if you lose 25%. And as for broadsides, I agree with using Rail Rifle for anti-tank.

I know in the future I probably want more Broad Sides simply because I love them but I prefer them with the missiles. Str7 Seems to take care of most of my trouble but it would be nice to have another set of them to cover the other flank.

What if I had two full groups of broadsides two with missiles and one Monat with a Rail Rifle? Do you think this would be effective?
The Heavy Rail Rifle is cool and I love the model for it but I don't feel like a single Str 8 is enough.

I only have the one group right now - I would love to see a new pack that includes at least two broadsides similar to the Tyranids double Carnifex box. I don't want to buy the Anti-Armor Cadre on the principal that I DO NOT want more than two Riptides. (I feel like two is more than enough. At least for now)

I like your idea for my anti-infantry unit and will probably switch my Burst Cannon Crisis suits to be twin linked with flamers I like that idea because it's less likely I'll have to use marker lights for them and ditch the drones. I'll kick off a couple fire warriors to make up the difference for twin-linking. I don't think the VRT would be helpful in this instance since they are all at initiative 2 and I don't know how likely it'll be to do.

As for the Support Commander/Riptide combo I'm glad they ended up changing that rule(It was necessary) so I might just stick him with the Broadsides or the Missile Crisis or even Farsight's unit - though that might be getting a little too top heavy.
