Just one little clarification I got confused with in a game. I want to make sure I do this right.

When I preform a Deny the Witch, I need to either meet or exceed the number of successful Warp Charges manifested to nullify the power.
Ex: Hammerhand requires 1 Warp Charge, and my opponent gets 3 successes. I would need to get 3 or more successes on Deny the Witch rolls to negate his power.

What about when a powers that cost 2 or 3 Warp Charges, is it still the same or can I nullify enough warp charges to bring it below the minimal warp charges required to cast the power?
Ex: Vortex of Doom requires 3 Warp Charges, and my opponent gets 4 successes. Would I need 2 or more? Or do I need to get all 4 successful Deny the Witch rolls to negate that power?

RAW you need to nullify every charge he successfully rolls. personally think it would be better if you add his, subtract yours and see if it goes off, but that's not how they did it.

I plan on talking to my gaming group about adjusting these rules to do that, but if you're just using the book as is, without any house rules, you need to nullify every charge he successfully uses to stop the power.

All 4 are needed.

That makes denying far to easy.

A Warp charge 3 power that is only just cast, with 3 successes, would then need only a single deny success.
