Sorry about the noob question, but regarding the new objectives in the maeltrom of war missions, can i finish movement with my base on top of the objective? Or are they inpassable terrain?
I´m wondering if i would build some scenic objectives, but if the minis have to step over them then its harder to do...

I would either use flat tokens, or a totally impassable and small if scenic. I don't like the idea of units hiding out of sight behind an objective.

Whatever your objectives look like, be sure to agree with your opponent on what kind of terrain to treat them as. I usually use the little servo skulls that came with the lasgun ammo pack and dice. Impassable granting 5+ cover to those obscured by it.

They are Objective Markers, they are not terrain.
They do not interact at all with the models on the table as they are just a marker.
Ignore them for Line of Sight, move them to put models where they need to be. But remember to put them back when the models have moved on.

Which makes things hilarious when you park a Land Raider on an objective. Try getting within 3" of it now!

Assault could do it You might not even need to assault, depending on the size of the marker. A 25mm marker in the dead centre under a LR could still allow an enemy unit to approach within 3" and still be more than 1" away from the vehicle.

but monoliths will do the trick. 6" square, and you need to get within 3" of the objective. it ain't possible with a monolith there.
10 in unbound, muahahahaha!
