Ok so I've got my list built up and I'm trying to decide what's best for my core
And I thought I would ask y'all and see what y'all think
I really don't like marauders compared to warriors so please no one suggest those
Also I choose dragon ogres as kind if my anti monster anti heavy cav but I've heard they aren't very competitive
so any suggestions about changes there would be helpful as well
So here is the list
Daemon Prince ((495))
-Daemonic Flight
-Chaos Armour
-Daemon of Nurgle
-Soul Feeder
-The Other Tricksters Shard
-Enchanted Shield
-Dispel Scroll
-Lv 4 lore of Nurgle or death
Festus The Leechlord (190)
-lv 2
Exalted Hero (206)
-Mark of Nurgle
-Halberd
-Scaly Skin
-Dragonhelm
-Dawnstone
-BSB
23 warriors 8x3 (436) (exalted hero and Festus here)
-Mark of Nurgle
-shields
-FC
-Banner of swiftness
2 chaos Chariots (250)
-Mark of Nurgle
8 Chaos Knights (380)
-Mark of Nurgle
-Standard/Musician
-Enscorcelled Weapons
3 Dragon Ogres (214)
-Shartak
-Great Weapons
3 Skullcrushers (279)
-Enscorcelled Weapons
-Standard/Musician
-Razor Standard
Now my original core was the same block if warriors with another group of 12 warriors instead of the chariots but then I used a chariot in a game
And discovered it had decent hitting power so I did this so if anyone can help me please comment.

You have Scaly skin in the list twice. Mutations just like items are unique and can only be chosen once per army just like magic items.
Also enchanted shield is wasted on your DP. With scaly skin and chaos armor he is already at a 2+, if you pick charm shield it still brings you to max armor 1+ with added bonus instead of extra armor being wasted

Honestly I think your core looks fine the way it is. However there will be some people who prefer all chariots and a couple units of dogs/marauder horsemen. It is up to you, depending on the meta you play in and how super competitive you want to be. If you are set on using Festus, you are going to need a block of warriors to throw him in. But I would try to add 2 units of 5 dogs to your core so that you have some chaff and deployment drops. So overall a block of warriors and 2 chariots is a fine core selection.
I personally have never run dragon ogres, so I can't attest to their uses. However if you are running death magic, monsters usually aren't a problem with Spirit Leech/PSOX. You could run some regular ogres with great weapons, only STR 6 but cheaper. Or some trolls for the no armor save pukes, but they need more babysitting due to stupidity. So there are a couple different options there for you.
A note about the skullcrushers though, be careful with taking a standard with only three. Because if you break you automatically lose the standard guy, so that is 33% of the unit gone if you break before considering casualties. However they don't break very often so it isn't unheard of to take standards with the 3 of them. You could take out the standard/razor standard and save yourself 55 points tho.

Ok well if I drop the standard I might have enough points for 2x5 units of dogs Automatically Appended Next Post: Well also how about replacing the ogres with GW wielding marauders would that be any good??

Getting rid of the standard for dogs would probably be a good choice.
About the marauders, It could work, however the problem is you would need a fairly good size unit of GW wielding marauders to do a good size of damage. Also if you want it to be an anti-armor unit, you are only str 5, so only -2 the armor. The main problem with a block of marauders is mobility. Ogres and Dragon Ogres are great because they are move 6/7 so that is far better than move 4. So honestly you could make a unit of marauders work, however they usually are not considered an "optimal choice" especially for anti armor.
