Wow. In High School, I was in the Fantasy Gaming Club (we actually had one!), and the Society for Creative Anachronisms. Guess I WAS a bit Anti-social, but then again I never did (and still don't) see the need to BE social. I don't see the attraction to sports at all. Occasionally I like to watch a good game of Hockey while I'm downin a pint at the bar. Otherwise give me a plot of any kind, please.

The idea is that it takes extra effort and time to write properly, and they’d rather save the time. If you can still be understood, what’s the harm? While most of the time a sloppy post CAN be understood, the use of proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling is generally seen as respectable and desirable on most forums. It demonstrates an effort made to be understood, and to make your post an easy and pleasant read. By making this effort, you can often elicit more positive responses from the community, and instantly mark yourself as someone worth talking to.

Ok it just that I have cousins who have moved to the states and they had to give up their other passports or nationality or something to that extent.

Technically becoming a US citizen, and specifically the wording of the citizenship oath, requires renuciation of any foreign citizenship. The other country may not care, however, and may still keep you as a citizen. Also, the US has in recent years been less interested in enforcing this in any way.

Here's a nice nontechnical article on the subject:
