I don't consider anything cheesy or broken. Eldar Falcons push the envelope but that makes sense to me because the rest of thier list is a little soft and squishy.

My bad for not getting it.

Looks like I failed the internets...

I'm not going to worry about soft scores either. A bunch of guys who game together regularly playing at a RTT can easily swing the standings by favoring each other on the painting and sportsmanship scores. I know because I've lost painting comp to armies that were not shaded, outlined, highlighted when mine were. But, I don't care. I think that some gamers really need the prize money-I don't.

I think that the DE player might have won if he had gone first. Stelek's DE army is posted but not under a DE thread. It was within the last couple of months.

But, I think that the point is that the Decepticon list is beatable with several other army types, hence, not broken....

I love Stelek's posts, they are so over the top!

No army list is really broken.

I run most of them, granted they are my own variants.

I'd say the closest to being 'broken' is the 2000 point spinegaunt/Gojira list.

It's quite difficult to deal with.

Thankfully most players don't want to put together 120+ spinegaunts.

My DE portal army would own it very very badly.

I also happen to have a rather large Dark Eldar army (little over 7K) so I probably have the minis you use. If you don't mind PM me your list O' Doom and I'll put it up against the Decpticrons since we both game at the same place. I'd seriously like to see how it fares against them.

You want the nightshield version or the WWP version?

Is there another version? lol

I'll send you both I'm currently using.

Heh...I hope that is sarcasm...

I played the GK list and I have fun with them the great majority of the time. I pull out a lot of ties with the list. As for this "broken list" thing that keeps coming up I dont see anything illegal in their lists. They are strong and well thought out lists but each has a weakness. Show your skill level and beat them, dont complain.

I liked the comp scores but they just dont seem to apply much any more.
RTT's are supposed to be fun, not cut throat.
They are also supposed to be challenging. The only comp heavy list I didnt really like playing was my orange chickens. That list just sucked hehehe. I love the challenge of trying to beat lists like these with more comp or fluffy lists.

I do what the voices in my wifes head say...
