I think you should have 4 compound legs on each one of them. They would look more buggy (Not that it is the point), make them look more stable, and generally cooler. Gives them a more versatile look too. Not to mention that the 2 feet look... well... dumb as hell.

Edit: Also what color are you going to paint them? I vote yellow.

Once upon a time, I told myself it's better to be smart than lucky. Every day, the world proves me wrong a little more.

Dually noted on the feet, I just crushed them... starting over on them. After all this is the test model that I'm taking all the way through to make sure my idea works.

The multiple legs part... it's possible, I'll build a model of the MCU (Warrior) with 4 legs and see how that looks. My main concern is making them too big with multiple legs. However I think I was saving that for the CCC (Hive Tyrant).

On the painting, as they are machine minds and majority of thier body is metal, they do however have fleshy bits cloned and improved from the fallen 'Nid army that Raven killed. So the "flesh" I am still debating on the color for that, I was thinking bloody and red (goopy too). Then the metal bits I hadn't actually thought of yet... yellow might be sweet. I'm thinking Amberish yellow. Then at the very end I'm going to have epoxy dripping off of the "flesh" and onto the metal...

Basically think "Meatball Machine" but started as machine and had flesh thrown in afterwords.

GW Hobby.... Makes me laugh (and cry) every time I see it. Wargaming is a hobby. GW is a company.

As to the OP. Rock on. You obviously posted waaaaaay to early in the process, but meh, it happens. People who cry because they blew too much time and money on their toys and want to tell you how to play with yours shouldn't get you down. Of course, don't expect to be let in to a GW tournament.....

No one cried. People thought it was silly because it was a bunch of wires and bolts.

I'm starting to see potential now that he has putty on there though. I think it can work pretty well.

Moz:
You: "Hold on, you rammed, that's not a tank shock"
Me: "Ok so what is a ram, lets look at the rules."
Rulebook: "A ram is a special kind of tank shock"
You: "So it's a tank shock until it hits a vehicle, and then it's a ram, not a tank shock, and then it goes back to being a tank shock later!"
Me: "Yeah it doesn't really say any of that in here, how about we just play by what's written in here?"
