Assuming that this is Australian money, I would get two Ork battleforces. Yes, they really are that expensive.

Assuming that's £188, I'd get the gaming board and then buy another two SM Tactical Squads.

Practically, it's supposed to be just enough to cover the board, so you could assume a board and half a combat squad.

Funny I see this thread. The local gaming store is having a drawing for a $500 shopping spree tonight. I've got 24 tickets and I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Anyways, I'd start with that IG Box that comes with a Leman Russ, and the Platoon, or something like that. Should round out 2000pts of Guard for me.

Then I'll probably get that new Space Marine assualt box, with the Drop Pod, Vanguard and Sterngaurd squads, and the Thunderfire Cannon. I'd probably get a box each of the Sterngaurd and Vanguard to get 10 man squads of each.

Then I'd buy a Fire Prism, so I can have one for my Eldar army. That would about sum up the $300.

If I win this thing tonight, I'd probably take the left over 200, buy some High Elves, then maybe some IG Tanks and Drop Pods.

A baneblade, two squads of stormtroopers, a couple of squads of steel legion troops, and the GW hobby starter set.

no. I would keep it. hold it. cherish it maybe, because seriously i have about a bajillion unpainted models and i cannot afford to keep them unpainted for long (slight OCD). so either not buy anything or sell it for commision money

They where wiped out with the sail that they had going on tonight, so they said I can come in after they restock. This is what I'm thinking of getting right now.

But think of all the dice cubes you could have had. :(

I would buy two Piranhas and a Sniper Drone team, two Black Reach boxes and a bunch of other SM stuff like a Land Raider and some Assault Marines, a couple of other vehicles and a couple of characters. Then I would be able to make an SM army using my old Beakies and Termies added to the new stuff.

I'd take three starter sets.
This gives you two small armies.
I'd expand one of these forces investing the rest of the money.

I would buy a Dark Eldar army and with the remaining money send it to JohnHwang's house with a greeting card.

You know, I haven't played DE since I sold mine off during 3rd Edition. Tactically, it probably would be quite a fun challenge in the current environment.

One thing I will say is be careful with the Kasrkin. Box comes with a Flamer and a Grenade Launcher, neither of which are much use in a Storm Trooper squad, especially when paired with one another. You'll need to get two blisters of Kasrkin special weapons to get yourself a pair of Plasma Guns and Meltaguns. You could probably ditch hte Cadian Officers to get them (and then make yourself some Officers out of plastic Cadians and the bits from the Cadian Tank Accessory sprue (there's an officer on that sprue).

You know, I haven't played DE since I sold mine off during 3rd Edition. Tactically, it probably would be quite a fun challenge in the current environment.

Now what you do with it is up to you.

I'd get into Fantasy. I've always wanted to but never made the "jump". Probably buy the hardback rulebook, codex, and a couple of batalion boxes (or an army box if available for under $300). Either High Elves, Dark Elves or mortal chaos.

Buy enough Lootaz to hit the broad side of the barn.

I spent nearly this much the other day, as I said earlier in this thread. Today, my stuff turned up, woot!!!
