Also, the lexicanum's a decent source for fluff.

Cypher, the Fallen Angel is one of the Dark Angels that fell to Chaos in the Horus Heresy. After Luther fell and Caliban was destroyed he was spirited away by the warp. He is said to be carrying the Lion's sword and where he is, other Fallen Angels gather. It is unknown if he is actually a servant of Chaos, or is trying to redeem the Dark Angels in some way. He may actually have been multiple Fallen Angels over the centuries or just one being. He is slowly making his way toward Terra where some say he will redeem the Dark Angels and/or save the Imperium.

Of course he could just be a Chaos Marine doing his thing, no one's really sure. And in the 3rd edition Chaos Codex, IG armies could use him.

Any reason they decided not to put him in the 4th edition DA codex? And where the hell is Asumadi?

Who is asumadi?

As we know now, cypher is a title and also there will be a DA book coming in the HH-series, so he could return in 6th ed.

My bad, Asmodai was a DA special character in their older codex. He's supposedly the most famous Interrogator Chaplain of the da, making two fallen repent over his entire career.

still, the emperor's untimely death is the perfect way to say, "yeah, he was awesome, but he's dead now."
Is he still alive, "yes", they say. But everyone knows the Emperor is really dead. look at the first page of the BRB.

simple as that

Yea the ol maggot farm is deffinetly dead and rotting. I think the reason they lock him in the throne room is to simply keep the stank out of the palace. And those titans that stand guard out front? Are to burninate the stank seeping through the doors.

In your base, ignoring your logic.

The thing with cypher is that many believe that when he returns the sword to terra, the emperor willbe reborn, some(mainly me) believe that the Fallen are the good DA and the loyalists are the evil DA, oh and grassy knoll!!!.

Oh and the IG are totally volunteers, we decided one day to put on cardboard boxes and shine flashlights at the enemy, the commissars just make sure we don't renege on our volunteer status.

Again the IG were mainly forgotten in this post and only SM were talked about, there are billions mor IG than SM and no one cares.

The human "volunteers" were castrated and made sterile were they not? Personally I would rather die, so following THAT logic the Tau are evil and the Imperium(which may sacrifice thousands daily) are good. Chaos are just meanies and Orks...are...well Orks.

You know...chaos has been a problem since warhammer fantasy, you think that after 30,000 years that the imperium would've gotten rid of them.
