The newest are the Apocalypse book, so they're the ones to use. It's a pretty sweet ship transporting 30 people. Just got a landing pad to put together. Should be nice for display when I'm not using it.

3 engines? Unless there is one mounted to the underside/rear i count only 2. Besides, really nice work there!

Not exactly sure what you're asking. I used Styrene plasticard from Evergreen models. There is no foam involved. You can tell that from looking at the WIP photos.

And yes, there is an engine at the rear.

Any chance we could get some shots of the underside? I'd like to see what you ended up doing with the whole "blackened from reentry" thing, and I can only see hints of it in the painted photos.

Very nice work, very nice indeed! I really love the thunderbolt...

However as someone who learned the hard way, if your going to build some structure pieces using GS, you might want to look into milliput. Cheaper then GS and I find for basic gap filling and things like the thunderbolt canopy railings you made, it's better. You can sand it, drill it, what have you, which leads to a much more finished look.

Wow your conversionskills are great! I envy you
I'm trying to find the templates from Lackofs but the site is as good as dead due to GW policy. Would it be to much if I asked if somebody could email them to me?

Aside from the grey GW bits, everything is plasticard if you look on the page two prior to me priming it grey. Spending time on a model and using plasticard gives a much more durable finished product than foam/cardboard.

Finnlock : I was looking at that or something similar but it wasn't a two part product and I was scared it would dry out before I'd used up the whole package. I agree though my canopy is sort of junky looking :(

I still have to take a picture of the bottom I guess however there's not much to see, I definately took the easy way out and just painted it black.

You could always place some "L" shaped plastic rod over it,they call it Styrene Angle. The company Plastruct sells the stuff I buy in a number of sizes you you'll get the right size.

Might just give you the finished angles your looking for.
