That deacon/priest is genuinely one of the best minis I've ever seen. Something about his pose is just so badass and dynamic. The oversized gun, the nonchalant lean to his head, the choice of head, the sweet banner, the base, the freehand on his clothes. Just oozing character! Can I have him?

So I'm finally back again. And this time with a project I actually will keep updating through this blog. After a long long pause from WH 40k, I've decided to throw myself in to the grim darkness of the far future. After thinking long and hard about what to start collecting, my mind got stuck on the Black templars (after going through more or less all the other codices).

But I still wanted to make something different when it comes to the templars. So I've decided to create a penitent crusade. The difference from a normal crusade is not that great really. First of the models may not display any chapter markings at all, or the eagle of the Empire. They no longer have the honour of wearing it upon their armour. As a second marker, they will all be wearing sheets of paper (made of green stuff) upon which vows they have undertaken to repent.
All the normal models right arm will be painted in the Yellow of their original legion (that of the Imperial fists) to always remind them of Dorns failure.

So without further wait, I would like to post some work in progress.

Thanks a lot. I'm doing what I can to give every marine something specific. Makes it more than just another marine army

Regarding my precious project (or projects) I can say the following: My Redemptionists got lost somewhere during my move to Poland from Sweden. Guess I will never see them again. But I still keep my fingers crossed. I put my Blood bowl team on ice, since there was a lack of interest from the people gaming here. That combined with me finding a job that sucked away lots of my spare time. I have been thinking about some more Necromunda or I-munda, but really want to finish of my new Templar project first.

I have never said anything regarding..... oh well, I admit to have said something about never using GS. But I gave it a shot and am really happy with the result. Still some way to go though.

looking good there paddy! the dreddy turned out really well! awsome idea with the candles on the backpack to! The painting looks great to, the red and yellow are really well executed, though i must say the face looks a bit unfinished but that could be because of the poor lighting, take some pictures in better light and i think it will look ace!

Thanks a lot Chabbo Regarding the face... it is just the first basic colour and does not count as painted really. Will try and get better lighting for future pics. Have started painting my Emperor's champion as well. More pics will be added during the weekend.

One can always do better but that GS-work is still pretty sweet!

Can't wait to see some more!
