I somehow convinced the wife to give up a whole room of our house which I have filled full of my miniatures and gaming table. Now if I could only find a way to get another room for all of my Paintball gear...

Usually gw i live 15 mins away by bus and it is nice and central so it is easy for everyone to get there.
Also fits more people than peoples games rooms more tables and good times usually.

I pretty much don't game these days...

Mostly at home. I have a 4x6 and a 4x4 in the garage so we can run really large games or two games at once, depending. Other than that I make the 45min. drive to the Memphis Battle Bunker.

I used to mainly game at a friend's house, but now I go to a local games club.

I still play the odd Fantasy game at the local GW, but I've been playing Warmachine more recently at a friends' house(they have two tables) and at the local hobby shop.

there's a group of dudes I game with at the FLGS but I when I was in highschool(not too long ago) a couple of guys and I would skip class from time to time to play 40k in the cafeteria... lol nerdiest excuse ever. We were making top marks anyway...

I'm lucky enough to have a great gaming club and a really friendly independent store that encourages gaming!

I play at legions in any events. Iuse to go to a place in texas called battle field games once twice a week.naturaly every week for 3 years!

My local game shop is my friends and i play. from what ive seen on the web of what GW stores have is nothing compared to our shop. our shop has 12 tables to game on with adjustable terrain, show me a GW store that can boast that and that isnt those mega store in the UK near GW HQ.

About a year ago when I got back into 40k after a 17 year break with a few friends and family members.. I decided to be Game Master and make a battleground out of a big cardboard box I`d used when I moved house.. and now my conservatory has become the regular haunt for epic battles..

..and we didnt want to go to any stores or clubs and have kids calling us massive noobs for not knowing how to play properly : D

Mostly play at my house or my friends house, its just more convenient having food and everything already here and also being able to watch tv at the same time.

HATE PLAYING AT GW. Full of relly young kids who steal the best tables, terrain, space, and make loads of noise. I mean I'm all for people joining the community, but show some respect to people who are already here. Play at home or round a mates, going to GW only for tournaments and to meet new people for the group.

Play at home, why because I only get to twice a month because I do long hours and pain in the ass shifts. So when I do I want to play with friends, relaxed games without some judgmental chump whining at me that my army isn't painted...... Wah wah wah! The models fully constructed and has exactly what's visible on it doesn't it??? Then quit your belly aching!
That and I have a board, scenery and massive amounts of units to move around otherwise.
Oh and currently have a campaign underway on a planet/planets/system of our own.

My bro and I are building a table atm, but I mostly go to my FLGS, and sometimes to GW.

There is only one FLGS where I live that has a table. It only has that one table.

It's usually a very nice looking battlefield, but I'd rather not wait for a few hours waiting for them to finish. Being rather shy doesn't help things.

I do it where I live.

Since I work on a cruise ship, I will often have and play board/table top games in between my shifts in my work area.

Never play games other than in my house
