I just noted in the big Apocalypse report near the front, there is a shot of the Guard attacking a Base with Tyranids in it.

GW has been known to show stuff on the sly in the past, so was wondering if it had come up.

Funny, I have been looking to that pic today... THeres a FW carni there with strange back carapace, the tyrant looks like normal metal one but there are 2 (new or convo) tyrant guards there.
They look like old hiverant torsos convos on lictor legs ( but they could be new stuff, I cant figure out details since pics so small) Also he heads of those guards are diferent... could be convos.

They're conversions. 2nd edition hive tyrant bodies, warrior rending claws, 4th edition tyrant guard heads.

I scanned it for you so everybody can see.

The fexes are just regular plastics that had their backs shaved.

Ah cheers, I had a feeling they where conversions but thought I'd ask.
Also surprised the metal Hive Tyrant is that big, much bigger than the Alien Queen one my wife has.

There will probibly be a small mail order titan along the lines of the Stompa/ Warhound.

The scale creep is setting in, judging from the SPace Hulk game, and there is always a new model to pull out of the collective fourth point of contact to make your old ones obsolite.
