I have a lot of starter boxes, but have a couple of boxed D&D type games, heroquest, space crusade, space hulk (twice), at least one warhammer edition, gorkamorka and a fist full of other stuff from a variety of manufacturers. Probably over 13 without including all those self contain games that come in boxes.

Waste of money really to me as they usually contain content either for armies I'll never play, an odd assortment of models, or a lot of left over models and junk because I only intend to play one of the armies included. Plus they're generally out of my usual spending budget. ¬¬

edit - going to bed last night and apparently I still own three of the older boxes, Black Templar 40K box (4th?) and Warhammer with Bretonnian/Lizardmen (5th?) and the Empire v's Orcs (6th?) .. so twelve.

They where sitting on top of one of the model cabinets in the bedroom.

Ive only bought one...it was the 40k starter set with the marines, land speeder and 2 squads of dark eldar. Pretty old, I think it was the starter set throughout the 3rd edition. Though I should really buy one every time a new one is released....those things are about the only merch that GW doesnt completely rape you on!

And I also bought Space Crusade 2nd hand (actually got this before I knew about Warhammer.)

Just realized after pressing vote that I completely misinterpreted the question.
Voted for 2. As in I own a Black Reach set and an Island of Blood set.
But I've got 3x the Orks from AOBR (+1 rulebook and whatnots) and I recently bought the Island of Blood set but sold the models to my buddies.

Also I've got half of a Gorkamorka starter set. So I've got... what? 2 and a half sets?

I got the Mines of Moria once upon a time.

I had the fellowship and my cousin got the goblins.
We knew how to play we just wanted the nice models and pocket rulebook.

Um, .5? I got the Skaven half of IoB...

4x Island of Blood (i play skaven and get 2 of the sets REALLY cheap, minus the high elf minis, 2 other two sets i bought myself and swapped for skaven from a friends IoB)

I only got the LotR box Mines of Moria.
