I have to get two of them so I can make the same conversion/paint job twice, one for my collection, one to give to a lady that has a strong resemblance to the mini and would get a kick out of having it look like her.

Seriously? Hrm, I'll have our web guy check that out immediately. Thanks for bringing it up!
I ordered on the 14th and even though I clicked on the Express I got the standard in the total (it is only a buck difference). Not a big deal but I tried twice and figured I could live with standard.

I think it is funny on Dakka that anyone has issues with the proportions as the sculpt looks pretty awesome. But I suppose I shouldn't be, people often use the term "logically" when referring to 40K rules. I think the next time GW comes out with a Space Ork I am going to hijack the thread questioning the proportions of the biceps on the fig.

From the look of the model, it would be easy to take off the soda bottle bits of the pistols with a jeweller's saw, and stick on your own weapon.

Only on rare ocassions I dont convert minis, because sometimes they are perfect for what they are, this is one of those cases.

Soda Pop Get!

So my figure arrived today, sooner than I had expected.

As always, real 28mm figures look weedy compared to GW's roid freaks. However, it goes well with other 28mm figures (Hasslefree, Heresy, etc.)

It is a two sprue casting; the main body is one, the right leg and left arm are on a second sprue.

The parts are designed to join at 'good' places -- the leg joins on at the line of the stocking top. Pinning for strength is probably a good idea.

30mm round slotta base is supplied.

The casting is pretty clean and will require a bit of work with a file to get mould lines off but nothing major.

Their art's done by Reiq/Reinaldo Quintero, at least the piece for this model's main page. I have him watched on my DevArt account and this piece popped up on his account.

I think it looks cool, but yeah, the hips... It looks like the upper body and the legs are from two slightly different scale figs.
