The things letting it down for me are very small, but...

I think the washed beige is too homogeneous, especially when you look at that beautifully painted carapace

The tiipy toes looked great when I first put onto the base before I painted it. The intension was that is should look like just put het feet?/hoof down. But now there is something odd too it. I am thinking of changing that.

The off-white/bone-white where tricky to get a good smooth blending. Now when I have started with my Trygon I will try another way of doing it.

Now I have to dig into 60 termagants,22 genestealers, 6 ymgarl genestealer, 10 ripper swarms,10 spore mines and some objective markers. All is basecoated and washed, "only" blending and details left to do : )

Dude.... I especially love the brains on the zoantropes.

Disappointed, I read Zoans in the thread title and hoped you had misspelled and bought some old-school Zoats.

But on another note, they look great. The bases are really ace, looking forward to seeing your new winter themed battlefield sometimes soon

Lol... zoats, well those buggers have been out since 2nd ed. Where only included in rogue trader... and in WFB in Wood elf army if I recall correctly.

Not extremly conpetetive, but it was fun to make some models that didnt exist in GW´s current range.

To wrap up the project thread I thought it could be good to show the finished swarmlord. I chenged the bonesabres to the ones from chapterhouse studios.
