I talk to Chris, who runs the Colonial, on the phone quite often. I'm sure there are a few others who can echo my feeling that he cares a great deal about the success of the event, keeping the old attendee base happy, but attracting new folks.

If it isn't enough that I gave him some NOVA Open ticketage, you can quote me as endorsing Chris, especially his addition of 40k to the GT for this year ... plus plans to really intimately develop its format along the lines of some of the events lately as the years go on.

Head up to this thing if you can, there'll be some well known regulars there!

Yermom and a few others tried to convince me at SVDM to come up for Colonial, I'm seeing if I can get the weekend free. When you say NOVA Open tickets Mike, you mean for the main GT or invitational?

But the real question is...will there be tasty beverages?

Will there be Nova Invitational slots given out to the best general and best overall of the Colonial GT? That would be a really big incentive for me to unleash the fury of the Space Cats.

Guys,

I just put up an easy to use paypal button on each page of my web site.

Also, Dave at the Brothers Grimm will be running the 40k Colonial GT qualifier on March 12th. If you win this event, you will receive a free ticket to the Colonial for 40k. I will reimburse you if you have already paid. Its a win win no matter what!

How are things filling up on the 40k side? I'm trying to get the time off to come up for this after having a blast at SVDM and Conflict, but not sure I'll be able to commit for a bit longer.

This is getting more and more tempting. The only reason I'm not sold yet is that it's the weekend after Adepticon. Arg!

Adepticon 2015: Team Tourney Best Imperial Team- Team Ironguts, Adepticon 2014: Team Tourney 6th/120, Best Imperial Team- Cold Steel Mercs 2, 40k Championship Qualifier ~25/226

I know, I'm in the same boat. I'd planned for Colonial, and then my wife gave me my tickets, a gascard, and time off to go to Adepticon, as my Christmas present. When I get back I'll have to spend a few days and make sure the shops are back up to speed. Won't know if I'm good to go until the last minute. Hopefully nothing blows up while I'm away, and Chris has spots left.

Colonial has always been a great tournament and get together. If I can't make the tourney, I'll at least drive up for the festivities Friday/Sat nights, which traditionally run pretty late.)

....and lo!.....The Age of Sigmar came to an end when Saint Veetock and his hamster legions smote the false Sigmar and destroyed the bubbleverse and lead the true believers back to the Old World.

Yeah, I know. I've always loved The Colonial, and was totally bummed to miss it last year (went the three preceding years). It's usually (historically) my most relaxing, pure-enjoyment GT of the year. I just kind of doubt that I have enough wife credit stored up.

The slots are now starting to be taken up. The new paypal button on the site is making things so much easier on everyone. Just check the master list on the forums under general discussions.

Sweet swords MM. I will definitely be there next month! I have always wanted to attend the Colonial, but now that you have 40k, I am all over it!!

I can only say good things about MM ran events. I have known MM for years and have attended quite a few of his smaller events. They have always been a good time with no shenanigans.

I would recommend to anyone who wants to attend a good 40K or Fantasy event, that you go to the Colonial.
