Given I've just switched to historical/modern rulesets, a whole bunch of mini's for those would be great. Preferably Marian Romans, British Paras/SAS, Mongol models, etc...

I've asked my sister for either a box of Chaos Warhounds or some Marauder Horsemen for my new WoC project.
My brother was talking about picking me up a decent non-pop sci book on QM which I've been meaning to brush up on for years now.
My other sister? Who knows, socks maybe money is tight for her so I'd rather she didn't get me anything.
I've asked my folks not to get me anything- they've done more than enough for me already.
Mostly I'm just looking forward to going home and seeing everyone.

All I want time.

or... A million years ago I got a set of ten metal marines, these were really old Rogue Trader models, came in a clear plastic box, bases and jet-packs for all, for Christmas. I wouldn't mind getting that very same set again, to relive the thrill of opening the box, eventually filing the flash off the figs, priming them and painting them up as best as could be done based on the Citadel minis painting guide. That was a nice time and Christmas always reminds me a little of the very first set of marines I got. I think the following year I got the original Imperial Marines box with the plastic guys in it. I salute all of the young folks in this hobby now, getting those same thrills but with the new generations of gaming stuff.

As far as official christmas...nothing. The wife and I spend our meager stash on the kids and other relatives. Christmas for the wife and I really comes around early Feb. Thats when income tax refunds come in. With 2 kids and relatively low income we score pretty good. I wont get into actual numbers but we are talking several thousand $$. Thats when we pick up any of the more expensive stuff we need/want.

This year for sure its a trip to Megacon in Orlando, FL at the end of March. Definitely a titan/mech thing from Dreamforge and some GK termies when they come out.

Whats my game?
Warmachine (Cygnar)
10/15mm mecha
Song of Blades & Heroes
Blackwater Gulch

Open to other games too

I'd like to start a new army for christmas, I'm no longer a newbie to the hobby and I'd like to have an army that looks good from the start. But I really can't decide which direction to go in. I'm stuck between quite a few choices, including several from 40k, Fantasy, Kings of War and Warmachine/Hordes.

Otherwise I wouldn't mind a new bass gutiar, my last one I got in the 5th grade with no knowledge and it shows.

Realistically I won't get much, funds are low this year.

Edit: Never mind, it's like 200$ Still a good deal, I guess

No, its 150 paints for 200 bucks at the war store. I think there are over 200 paints so 80$ would be like, incredible.

a GW price DECREASE!... but maybe I should be realistic and ask for world peace, its more likely.

In all honesty, I'm sitting on a nice pile of unpainted Figs as is... but there is always room for more pewter. Some Infinity or Firestorm Armada would be good.

I usually don't get any gaming stuff for x-mas but my wife does surprise me once in a while. Last year she got a Mr Jingels from Comfy Chair Games which I've wanted since I saw the first concept art for him.

I have hinted to my wife that I had some minis I wanted to get my hands on from Hasselfree.

I did convince my mother to give me a copy of Strange Aeon's, the miniature game.
