One Space Marine Librarian with Staff and Book ordered today, who will arrive in store on Christmas Eve.

I think an actual deadline is needed but that can wait until after Christmas. A Valentine's day deadline is a little short for me...it'll take me a month to paint this model (not actual time). Perhaps an April Fools deadline

I have to agree with you smurfwedge that posting your address on the internet could be... er.... a dangerous thing. But if you have a positive outlook you never know, perhaps the internet freaks would send you something interesting! and I don't mean marines. I might start a topic in the off topic forum "Things not to send Smurfwedge in the post" ha ha

In the meantime get painting all
and write a samll back story for your chapter if you can as i would like to post this as well
nothing too major but a little something would be good

I lurk most of the time, but I'd like to participate in this project; the Space Wolves have already been spoken for but I've been planning to paint a few marines of a homebrew chapter which have similar wolf iconography but a dissimilar colour scheme, the Black Pack; acceptable?

Heh, I've just found a half-finished Blood Angel I started painting months ago; would it be acceptable if I were to paint two miniatures for this project?

I'd like to paint up a Storm Lord, it doesn't look like it has been taken yet.

I've always really liked those guys, but I could never paint an entire army of them, bue one mini would be awesome!

When I have a marine spare I will certainly take part in this! If anything it will provide a break from painting Blood Angels I find it nice to paint a marine of a different chapter sometimes (I did an exorcist for porkuslime's DW army)

Lemme get some other projects and commitments off my plate, and I'll join. I wont pick a chapter until I'm sure I can commit.

Id be happy to participate. I'll do one of my Star Stallions (RG Successor.)

My Vote goes for sang and grass base.

As for the basing there was an almost 50/50 split with the vote so its been decided that you can either do an urban base or a grass & sand base....your choice

Also, as an (albeit rather pointless) aside, my Mentors are proper - none of this Raptor pad nonsense, Owl Sigil a-go-go, baby (pic at start of thread in my sig)!

Would it be a good Idea If we all put this in our sigs? It would get more people Involved. We should aim for 100+ Marines there are that many, (and way more) SM players.

Hey Smurfwedge! Sorry to get back to you so late. I’ve seen the on the other project like this, and I like the fact that this one contributing art for charity.

Sign me up for a custom chapter , the Sons of the Scorpion (Egyptian-theme), standard tactical type or HW user… not sure. Haven’t decided on urban or sand basing yet either.

I want to do a Blood Angel home brewed successor chapter, Fortis Angels. Which I believe translates to Courageous Angels. Background for them, is that they are on a crusade hunting down the Black Legion. I have lots of chaos bits such as heads and chainswords and bodies already model on the bases or in the hands. Is this ok.

P.S. I also think I have an extra Mephiston model, that needs stripped so I might use it.
