NAVARRO wrote:True, its just card and some plastic clips right? And by the looks in the pics they don't even look as sturdy as spacehulk ones.

Oops, couldn't believe you meant that seriously.
These are perfect for skirmish and RPG games, because prepainted to a high standard, modular and easy to carry. They look sturdy to me (that's what they worked on since the unsturdy prototype at GenCon).
In RPGs we always used cardboard floorplans. These 3D terraclips are far superior.

They do look more sturdy than their previous incarnation but there is still some minor woobly parts in those pictures and anyone who had a spacehulk tile on its hands knows that those are considerably much more thicker and sturdy.
Sure they are useful for many different things but they cannot be converted in any way shape or form, they are also good if you can live with printed surfaces instead of textured stuff and you cannot add details in other material because the mix of prints with things like static grass etc does look wrong.

So all in all its a good product but still very limited and not that well priced IMO.

No way you could pry me from dear old St. Louis. I love this place.
Moved away once and spent 10 years yearning and scrambling to get back. That'll never happen again.

To be fair, though, there's plently of Malifaux in the area. The problem is prioritizing. I prefer my group of close friends (who ONLY play 40K and refuse all others) to the regulars at Miniature Market. There's nothing wrong with the guys there, I just would rather spend the time with my close friends.

Most of the members of my monthly AD&D game aren't interested in mini wargaming, so... There we go.

Back on topic, though...
Looking over my posts, I want to be sure I'm clear on something that I don't think came across.

VISUALLY, I am a fan of these products. They look great. I think it's incredible that they had the vision to get this product out the door.
In that respect, I'm a fan.

Almost everyone is saying that, though. So, I'm just expressing the rest of my opinion, which starts with, "It's cool, but..." : )
