Awesome stuff there mate! Been wanting a small Krieg army for age's but never have the time (or the money tbh) to get round to it. Seeing these just makes me think maybe I should take a small loan!?

The muted color scheme is difficult to get right, at least for me. I guess what I am asking is what color combinations you use to get that style where it isn't just dull due to being black but rather sort of natural and a bit faded looking. Most models look very bright and well, plasticy, as though the troops' uniforms were designed to stand out, while yours look like they are actually being worn by real people.
You see this a lot in larger scale models, mostly historicals, where the colors are more muted. I have never really been able to find out what approach to color and paint gets that done, however.

This. I love the colour scheme and basing you have going on; it's amazing work and makes it look really gritty and realistic. Massive kudos for you sir!
I do personally think that some battle damage could add to the gritty, realistic feel that your models already possess, but otherwise I think this is astounding work; considering you say you've got so many more to make you might consider a P&M blog?
I hope you've got a snow table to go with that terrain, which I love btw - always been a fan of the FW Guard terrain like that.
Great work.

Either way, I'm loving the models you got going on here, absolutely first rate!
You beat me to it, but I am going to point out that his 'flag has vertical colour blocks, the 'actual flag' has horizontal ones. Either way the models are stunning.

But the muted and sombre color scheme fits the flavor of the death corp so well and your paint jobs look amazing. The snow and the terrain are ridiculous, especially the base on your valkyrie, and i mean that in the best way possible very nuclear winter indeed.

Well I read the fluff about the horses and it seems they are a specially bred and incredibly genetically modified breed of Terran horse that basically is constantly pumped full of chemicals to keep it alive through injuries that would fell normal horses, and apparently one of the side effects is that - aside from the mane - it is totally hairless. That explains why I went for the pale flesh look!
