Yup, thats exactly what i meant. He comes back as the Starchild (a chaos god really), even though he never wanted to be such a thing, then whoops all 4 major chaos gods real good,thus saving humanity!

The "secret box" or Terminus Decree? I think it is called, is pretty obviously implied to be an order to shut off the golden throne.

I mean come on.

What else fits this description:

1. Either saves or dooms humanity
2. Has to do with the golden throne

It's not that hard. There are whole factions of the Inquisition based around this concept.
