I guess I could try getting my GF into this. I could get her into the fluff first, and go on from there. It's not like I have to hurry, anyways.

My wife and I play D&D and her character is a tactician... and she knows gak about tactics. So I brought up 40k to teach her... then got myself addicted, 6 months later I have a full army and she's never played a game until I'm _finally_ able to get her to play. We're going to have her second game on sunday

Get the Mrs involved with with gaming.

This is what I do to get some peace and quiet and relax.

If it wasn't for her understanding dislike for gaming I'd spend more time down the rugby club, drinkin' and misbehavin'. Ergo her tolerance of it.

My fiance loves Talisman to death.

I bought the new Space Hulk and "let" her beat me twice...and she's hooked.

I'm thinking about teaching her 40k...I'm not sure if I want to keep that for myself though. There is something to be said for having something "outside" of the relationship that you can retreat into.
