Will there be a limit to the number of exalts in a day to prevent over use. Not every post and thread here is special...

I'm sure it's probably far too late for such action, but is there anyway we can get the exalt link moved or turned into an actual button? I keep going for it when I mean to click "Forum Index". I've caught myself so far, but I just know I'm going to be half awake and accidentally +1 a Versus thread and be filled with shame for ages to come.

... the answer of course is yes, there IS a "smite button"... you just don't get it until you're made a Mod.



(I know I'm late to this discussion but I just noticed the Exalt thing and was trying to figure out what (TF) the deal was...)

I really like the new Mod, though I geuss many are already anticipating viewable Exalt stats,

however, taking your time for such changes and new features is very wise

The top exalted threads are now listed next to recent threads with the 'Top Threads' link.

There are 3 filtered options from within that page:
1. Top Recent threads = most exalted threads started in the last 2 weeks
2. Top Updated Threads = most exalted threads with replies in the last 2 weeks
3. Top threads of all time = most exalted ever.

As time goes on the list will filter itself more efficiently The 2nd and 3rd pages will be close to identical for a few weeks at least but will diverge eventually.

Non wargaming threads (OT, Video games, survival games, etc) are filtered out for now as this is a wargaming forum so should really be promoting wargaming threads.

I was about to ask what you were talking about, and then noticed that the text link was gone as well. On investigation, it would appear that the new button just doesn't show up in Chrome. Appears fine in IE, but there's just nothing there in Chrome. Still seeing the text link in each post, though... it's just the Thread Exalt that has disappeared.

The button doesn't show on IE7, which is what work has.

I like the idea, though I doubt I will use it much.

it will show up, it is just that you have the old sprite image cached locally. Give it a few days or clear your browser cache and it will magically appear as it did for insaniak.

I'm in chrome and I'm seeing it. Excellent I really like the look of it! I also like that the exalt of the single posts stayed as text, to make the thread one stand out more.

Edit: Also, the way it changes to "Already exalted" for a thread you've already clicked it for, or "Exalted!" for a new one, is a really nice touch. I'm definitely more clicky with it now

Lovely update on the Exalt button, now I got nothing to add other than it looks great and I think this feature will serve dakkadakka well!

Exalt what you feel deserves exalting. That's the whole point of it.
