I am both selfish and chaotic. I value self-gratification and control; I want to have things my way, preferably now. At best, I'm entertaining and surprising; at worst, I'm hedonistic and violent.
No-one posted Paul Reubens scene from Buffy?
Well here....
Of all the races of the universe the Squats have the longest memories and the shortest tempers. They are uncouth, unpredictably violent, and frequently drunk. Overall, I'm glad they're on our side!

Glad to see some of the classics posted by others here. Sanjuro, White Heat, both great films and favorites of mine.
Final battle between the Robot and the Aztec Mummy. It's awesome because it's so not awesome. It's a terrible, cheap movie and the final battle is hilarious. Watch the cardboard robot costume come apart when the Aztec Mummy kicks his butt, that's awesome. The big fight starts at about 3:40 into the video segment. Also note the MST3K version of this movie is available on Shout! Factory DVD set.
BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN (1935) "You stay, we belong dead!" A true classic with Boris Karloff, Elsa Lanchester!
Of course, it's hard to top this one for awesome finales, riding a nuclear weapon to detonation!
Goldfinger "steps out for some air". Great John Barry soundtrack!

Alec Guinness's character has a spectacular finish along with the bridge in Bridge On The River Kwai
The End Of Talos, Jason And The Argonauts. Harryhausen did a great job making him seem deliberately stiff and ponderous as if he was a living bronze statue. His death agony is extremely well animated.
Jason Finishes The Hydra, great literal death rattle! Jason And The Argonauts.

Easily my favourite scene from a film. Well chosen.

Not sure if it qualifies for the shortest fight scene or dumbest battle plan. maybe both.
Surprised at how far out he jumped from that platform. with balls that big, you'd figure
they'd weigh him down a bit....

That and U-571, are why I get pissed that he squanders his talents looking hot all the time on film. He was such a hardass in that movie. Nice one

This scene from Dune is a real winner in the awesome movie death scene category. When the little girl kills the sick and twisted Baron H. it's pretty cool. Thanks to my wife for reminding me about this one.
Unfortunately, this is from the Sci-Fi version, the really cool scene is from the David Lynch film from 1984 where the Baron floats away out of control after he is stabbed/poisoned. I'm trying to find that now.
Alia kills Baron Vladimir Harkonnen
Most fun thread on this forum...ever. If only they were all like this, genial and entertaining.
Of course, there's this fight scene from the original Dune (1984). "I WILL KILL HIM!" A famous line, much made fun of via references on MST3K.
